Butterfly Mini Thank Yous...Simon Monday Challenge: Blues, The Pink Elephant #232

Hey...one more teensy post and I'll go putter...

Just in case you're wondering: my sister-in-law (of the 90 tags request fame) is rapidly becoming my best customer (okay, my only customer, but best, all the same).  She's asked me to make birthday cards and thank you cards for her staff and volunteers, soooooo...I'm game.  AND, the super cool most fun part: making Valentine cards for my niece and nephew's daycare pals and teachers.  Ooodles of little Valentine Day cards.  See: there was a reason I *needed* to order all those papers from Kraftin' Kimmie's...and some dies from PS, and maybe a couple more things as well...*grin*

Two mini butterfly Thank You cards (more to join them, in different colours) with their accompanying mini-envelopes, heading off to Simon Says Monday Challenge: Blues and The Pink Elephant #232 Thank You theme challenge:

The butterflies are stamped with an ink my niece plays with; turns out I quite like it.  I'll be cleaning off its three companion inks (because she smooshed some of them together to "make new colours, Aunty C") and give them a whirl.

Thanks so much for dropping by (again! I know - 4 posts back-to-back is a bit much, but if you're still trudging along: thank you!!); your visit and comments are so appreciated!

GAH! These are caaaa-razy awesome, Carol!! I am IN LOVE with them! LOVE the card LOVE the envies!!! You totally knocked my off my feet with these babies! On the envie, I adore that one of the four butterflies is "taking flight" - perfect! And love that you lined them up along the border - bang on placement! On the card, I am drooling over the layered butterflies, and absolutely love the dies you used to create the wave. You are going to have to quit your job soon so you can make these for your SIL full time! You are in DEMAND...and rightly so!!!

Oh these are darling Carol! I love the layered blue butterflies on the kraft! I love that border cut too! Fabulous! How funny that your niece smooshed some of the colors together! I gave my daughter my old ink pads and bought new ones, for this exact reason! haha!

I'm finally getting a chance to catch up on my visiting (and Blogger is deleting every other message when I go to publish - I think that's what was happening to you last week, so aggravating!) and I've enjoyed catching up with all your wonderful creations, Carol! You've been busy! These butterfly cards are divine!! I hope you are enjoying the weekend! (Fingers crossed this publishes!) Hugs, Darnell

Your designs are once again...AWESOME! Seriously...the fancy edged card is so cool! Love the 'shorter' front with the sentiment stamped at the bottom. Of course, the accompanying polka dot butterflies envelopes make my day happy, happy, happy! Nice touch layering one of the winged beauties!
