Uniko Studio Brand Ambassador Inspiration...Merry & Bright Christmas Snowflakes

Hello,

Welcome to my Uniko Studio Brand Ambassador Inspiration post, where I bring out a few Uniko favourites for a play date.

As you likely know, Bev has recently launched a new release, where everything...and I do mean EVERYTHING is absolutely sensational, especially for the rapidly approaching Christmas season.

One of my favourites (okay...they're all favourites) is the new, stylish Sparkling Snowflake die. In my release post, I shared a rustic version of the snowflake; today, I'm going bold, and bright with traditional colours (and a touch of pink, just because)!

I've paired the die with the companion stamps from Stunning Snowflakes and a sentiment built from Festive Sentiments. The snowflake is adhered atop two red snowflakes (the leftovers from my tri-fold card, also shared in my release post) for an additional hint of colour/dimension.

Hope my card, along with the stunning beauties that have been created by my teammates, inspire you to invite this lovely die into YOUR collection!

Thank you for dropping by!

Witch's Hat HalloweenCards/Tags... Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #146~Pink Halloween, Inspired By~Table Runner

Hello,

Blowing, snowing and darn-right cold here today! Perfect weather to stay indoors, play with Lily and, of course, craft. Before I head to my zone, with puppy likely tagging along, a quick post to share some Halloween cards/tags. I didn't get my fill of creating Halloween stuff this year - too many distractions - so...perhaps I'll need to consider making spooky things year-round. 'Tis a possibility...

Anyway, the  Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #146~Pink Halloween inspired my first two cards, headed off to my niece and nephew (I won't say who is getting which one...but...my nephew does embrace pink at times, which I love!).  Pink spider web background on the first with a pop of pink on the hat which, as you can see in the photo below, is delightfully sparkly!

Reverse on this card with the pink hat/black web.

Hope the kiddos like them!

Since I had the hat dies out, I hunted about for another challenge, came across Inspired By~Table Runner and made some tags that capture a variety of the patterns/colours from this ultra cool runner. I want one of these!

That's all for now...off to play!

STAMPlorations Stencil Sunday...Playing with Distress Mini Ink Kits

Hello,

Welcome to my second STAMPlorations Stencil Sunday post.

This go-round, I decided to re-visit Distress Inks...in their 'mini kit' forms (which was my introduction to distress inks, when I finally realized I 'needed' to have some). I figured the incredibly creative Mr. Holtz must have had a reason for combining the four inks into sets, so I set about to see if my theory was correct.  Turns out: he did!

My first card uses Distress Mini Ink Kit #10  (Tattered Rose, Squeezed Lemonade, Iced Spruce, Bundled Sage) which I paired with the Flourishes Stencil to make the two cards you see below. I'm having a 'crush-fest' with deep kraft cardstock, of late *grin*

STAMPlorations products:

For my second card, I reached for Distress Mini Ink Kit #11 (Shabby Shutters, Festive Berries, Tea Dye, Milled Lavender) and the Fairy Tale Forest Stencil.  I added a cardstock 'forest' frame and the 'wish' sentiment because 'fairy tales' really are all about wishes coming true, aren't they!

STAMPlorations Products:

Distress Mini Ink Kit #12 (Brushed Corduroy, Chipped Sapphire, Aged Mahogany, Pine Needles) was my third choice and what a wonderful combination to use with one of my all-time favourite stencils - Stained Glass!  Two cards emerged...

STAMPlorations Products:

Hope my 'clean and simple' style does justice to these laden-with-possibilities stencils!

Two reminders:
  • Shery is offering a $15 gift code to one lucky winner who will be drawn from all comments left on the Stencil Sunday posts for the month (here and here), as well as from my posts - this one and the previous found here).
  • If any of the products have caught your eye, I invite you to use my discount code - STAMPGIRLCAROLM - when you shop at the STAMPlorations Online Store (some great deals to be had!)

Uniko Studio October 2019 Post Release Brand Ambassador Blog Hop & GIVEAWAY!

Hello,

I'm thrilled to be joining my Uniko Studio teammates for the October 2019 Post-Release Brand Ambassador Blog Hop & Giveaway! Bev revealed the new products a couple of weeks ago and you *must* go to see them now! Head HERE....I'll wait!

Welcome back...and I'm sure you're returned as delighted as I am with the three new stamp sets, two coordinating designer die collections, one stand alone die and one stencil that, depending on your style, span the spectrum from glamourous and classy, to whimsical and folksy.

I had several wonderful plays with a variety of the new goodies...let's go for a stroll....

A rustic snowflake, made with several layers of patterned papers. I LOVE this die!

Poinsettias in pink, followed by...
poinsettias in red/black.

My attempt at Jennifer McGuire's Tri-Fold Window Card Design

The new stencil creates a lovely background. What's cool about this: I used Moonstone Glimmer Paste that, on the red background, took on a pretty gold sheen! Who knew?!

A stencil trio, using my current infatuation with Chipped Sapphire, Aged Mahogany, Pine Needles and Brushed Corduroy, paired with kraft cardstock. Yummy!

Whew! Thanks for wandering through all of these!
I still have more to play with...stay tuned!

Be sure to comment along the hop for your chance to win the ENTIRE Release! You have until Midnight GMT 2nd November 2019 to leave a comment and a winner will be announced shortly after.

Tag, You're IT! Challenge #99~Sunflower Thanks

Hello,

Welcome to Tag, You're It Challenge #99, where Bobby has selected this lovely autumn image as inspiration!

I've brought out the incredibly pretty Sunny Studio's Sunflowers and Studio Katia tags for this challenge, then added them to a panel background. Just a reminder that, for our challenge, our focus is tags but a card, scrapbook layout and journaling card with a tag, even if it's teeny tiny, is acceptable.  Bookmarks and scraplings can take the form of a tag, too. Just have fun and be creative with TAGS! Hopefully, this opens up possibilities and encourages you to play along with us!

Looking forward to seeing your tag-a-licious creativity in the gallery!

Thank you for dropping by!

Hope you had a great week! Ours...hectic!  A trip to Edmonton last Saturday to bring my mom for a long-overdue visit - having her in the house, hanging out with Lily, was fabulous - and brought her back yesterday. We'll spend the weekend - much rushing around as per usual - then home Sunday. Visits and shopping...it's all wonderful.

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #510~Colour Week, where lovely Sue has selected a purple, navy and green palette.

Still in Halloween mode - and these cards (four in total; two shared) are a 110% case of one designed by Ashley T, which you can see here.  Hers is way cuter (I skipped a few steps) but I quite like mine none-the-less. Hope you do, too!
