Merry Christmas Elves...Happy Little Stampers December 2018 Anything Goes with Dies Challenge

Hope your Christmas preparations are coming along and that you're finding joy (and some rest!) in the midst of all the hustle-and-bustle!

Welcome to Happy Little Stampers December 2018 Anything Goes with Dies Challenge, where you have opportunity galore to showcase allll the wonderful cards you've created with any kind of dies whatsoever! The theme: open to whatever sparks your imagination....

My leftover Lawn Fawn Holiday Helper images, from the 25 Days of Christmas Tags event that wrapped up recently, have found a stage to play the form of a simple shaker card.  Those cute! Turns out I have even 'more' of them waiting in the wings...I wonder where they'll appear next *grin*

Please visit my teammates to see their wonderful creations and, if you have a moment, leave them some love. I know they'll be thrilled!

Looking forward to seeing your Anything Goes with Dies cards/projects in the gallery!

Poinsettia Christmas...STAMPlorations December 2018 Anything Goes CAS Card Challenge (optional twist: GREEN)

I'm joining my wonderful teammates for the STAMPlorations December 2018 Anything CAS Goes Card Challenge, with the optional colour twist: GREEN.

Another poinsettia-themed card to join the angel ornaments from my CUTplorations post. As you can see, I'm rather smitten with STAMPlorations poinsettias *grin*!

Christmas Flower (small version)

Hope you'll play along with us this month and bring your CAS cards to the gallery! Looking forward to YOUR inspiration as I continue to make my cards!

Poinsettia Angels...STAMPlorations December 2018 CUTplorations Challenge

A gentle snowfall over the past three days sees our surroundings blanketed in white; the trees are covered in pretty, sparkly frost; the blue of the sky has a hazy sheen...December has definitely arrived. And with it...another round of challenges over at STAMPlorations.

Welcome to STAMPlorations December 2018 CUTplorations Challenge, where we're drawing inspiration from this photo...

If you head to the image source (highly recommend), you'll discover "7 Different Styling Tips with the Poinsettia," that are truly gorgeous.  In this photo, mini poinsettias, in tiny vases, spruce up a Christmas card garland.  Beautiful idea!

For my project today, I focused on, obviously, poinsettias, as well as something decorative to hang on a garland, tree or gift. Yes, I've already showcased this 'style' and image before (during Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags event) but...when something bears repeating, far be it from me not to heed the call *grin*

Below: my trio of angels, with poinsettia gowns.  Right now, they're ornaments; I may transition them to fronts of cards or...I may make more 'for' cards and include these as a wee gift.  It's obvious: I'm smitten with this angel die!

That's it from me!  Hope you'll play along with us!
Looking forward to seeing your fabulous translations of this image in the gallery!

CUTplorations Challenge Guidelines can be found HERE (they're super simple!).  AND, if you play along, you're in the running for the Monthly Prizes!
  • $15 gift certificate to the winners in the challenges voted by each design team (5 main winners)
  • $5 gift certificate to three (3) randomly picked players per challenge (15 winners total)

Christmas Blessings...Happy Little Stampers December 2018 CAS Card Challenge~Emboss

New month means new challenges over at Happy Little Stampers and today, I'm delighted to join the team in creating cards for the December 2018 CAS Challenge. Our theme: EMBOSS

I embossed the Uniko Christmas Folk stencil, but the lighting...oh my stars! So difficult to show the imprint of those lovely poinsettias that, in real life, are very prominent, and the shimmer of the Delicata red ink.  Sighhh...we need some sunshine around here to a) fulfill my daily dose of 'natural' Vitamin D and make my already photography-challenged situation a bit less challenging.  On the plus side:  Yayyy to another Christmas card to the pile for my mom! As for my stash...there are some things best left unsaid *grin*

That's it from me; please head over to the blog to see how  my talented teammates interpreted this month's theme. A reminder that we're looking for CAS designs.

Hot Chocolate Kind of Day...Inkspirational Challenge #175~Designer's Choice

Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #175~Designer's Choice, with a theme that is PERFECT for this time of year...

and especially for me, whose card stash is so low (despite the hours I spend in my craft room!), it's embarrassing! Slow production + rotating strikes at Canada Post means my cards will likely appear in mailboxes well into the New Year. Then again...Christmas should be celebrated as far into January as possible, right? Right! *grin*

My wonderful teammates have interpreted the prompt in most fabulous festive ways; please visit and leave them some love, which I know will be deeply appreciated:

that, one might argue, isn't really 'Christmas,' based on the sentiment but...check out the traditional colours and the 'festive love' being spread! Besides, Christmas Day, for me, is always a hot chocolate kind of day, because that's pretty much the only time I drink it *grin*

Turning the stage over to you!

Looking forward to visiting you in the gallery, especially
because I need more Christmas card inspiration (and more hours in the day, apparently)!

Time for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop AND time for *me* to make a committed effort to play along this year, especially since I have several simply charming Christmas-coffee themed images to play with!

How about some aqua/red mugs, filled with hot chocolate and shimmery marshallows, whipping cream and candy cane as a start?  Thanks to Newton's Nook for these cuties!

Off to make more coffee cards...I mean *Christmas* cards...*grin*

Christmas Pop Trees...Uniko Challenge #50 Reminder~Celebrate, optional twist GOLD

After a wonderful 26 days of playing tag, time to refocus on those 'larger' canvases and get some Christmas cards done!

Today, I'm joining my wonderful design team and our guest designer, Mugdha, with a reminder about the Uniko November/December 2018 Uniko challenge~Celebrate (optional twist: GOLD).  We also have a lovely image to spark inspiration...

Christmas Pop is a newcomer to my Uniko collection (and evidently many others' collections as it is, once again sold out! Pop must stand for 'popular!), so I decided to 'celebrate' its arrival with a trio of cards.  Drawing from the photo, I paired the trees with the Scattered Polka Dots stencil, using Delicata Gold ink. Sparkly!

Red, black and that combination!

For fabulous inspiration, head over to Uniko...pretty celebration happening there! Once you've visiting, come play along!

Just in case you need some more incentive: PRIZES! Yes!!

Three brand spankin' new Sunny Studio sets joined my collection this month and oh, what fun they are! Excited to colour up every. single. image and give them stage time on either tags or cards.

First: Alpaca Holiday. So are his four friends!

Next, Happy Owlidays...another sweetie! I'm terrified of birds but this little guy - and his parliament of companions- don't ruffle my feathers *grin*

Finally, Foxy Christmas Adorable little foxes in this set, who I'll be using well beyond the Christmas season. The two sharing a kiss...and the two cuddling...cuteness overload!

Just Us Girls #468 - Photo Week

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #468~Photo Challenge, where our lovely Lisa has oodles of shiny bows to spark inspiration! Festive fun, indeed!

Once again, we're thrilled to have wonderfully talented Claire Garland joining us, however, we're sad that this will be her last post as our November Guest Designer. Thank you, Claire, for sharing your incredible creativity with us over the month! Please do visit her, as well as my teammates - Sue, Angie, Vicki, Ina, Bobby, Nancy, Lisa and Maria - who would love to know you dropped by.

Pretty easy to see what caught my eye from the photo...white space, gold, red, shimmer and shine!!  Alas, my photo doesn't do justice to said shimmer and shine, but...definitely sparkly in real life!

Over to you...

Looking forward to seeing your dazzling interpretations of the photo in the gallery!
