Obvious to see what sparked my oh-so-colourful Easter card. The eggs and bunnies are from MCT; Easter from Pigment Craft Co; happy from Honeybee Stamps. So wonderful when an assortment of products plays nicely!

Excited to see your creative interpretations of this Moodboard.

Linky is open until Friday, April 7th at 11:59pm (GMT).

Just Us Girls Challenge #672 - CAS CARD Week - 1/3 or Less...Oh, Happy Day (Colorado Craft Ice Cream)

 Hello,

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #672 - CAS Week, where sweet Sue, our hostess, invites us to create CAS card using only 1/3 or less of the card surface. We're talking oodles of open space.

This is our final week with our amazing guest designer, Michele Ferguson. Her card for this challenge, just like all the others she created throughout the month, is absolutely fabulous! Thank you for sharing WOW after WOW after WOW with us, my friend!

My very CAS card features cute kitties from Colorado Craft Co. The kitties (Lily, my mini schnauzer, gave me permission to use them) certainly love their ice cream! Happy day, indeed!

Looking forward to seeing your CAS cards, using 1/3 or less.
Yes, quite the challenge, but if I can do it, so can all of you!

Thank you for dropping by!

Just Us Girls Challenge #671 - Moodboard Week...Lemon Pies (Spellbinders, Concord and 9th)

Hello,

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #671, where our sweet hostess, Elizabeth, has selected a fabulous Spring/March themed Moodboard as inspiration. Oh, the choices!

Yellow, greens, flowers, pastels, lemons...pure yumminess!

Once again, awe-mazing Michele Ferguson  joins us as our Guest Designer. Her card is wonderful, as are those of my teammates.

Lemon pie popped into my mind, so I've baked a couple. First, one with a double crust (because I'm not a meringue fan), along with colours drawn from the paint swatches (top right) and the daisies.

For those who like their lemon pie a la meringue, here's another, using the other section of the stenciled panel. All dies are from Spellbinder's Pie Collection; sentiments + banner from Concord & 9th.

So excited to see how the Moodboard inspires YOU!

Color Hues Challenge #60 - Blue and Turquoise...Best Thing Since Snail Mail (Concord and 9th)

Hello,

March is just whizzing by and here we are with our second Colour Hues challenge of the month. Our sweet hostess, Marcia, has selected hues of Blue & Turquoise as inspiration for the next two weeks.
Yes...once again I have reached for a Concord & 9th turnabout - Postage - to pair with my cutie-patootie snail. He's adorable and certainly quite dapper no matter what colour he's sporting!

Looking forward to your Blue and Turquoise creations filling the gallery.

This challenge will be open until March 28th @ 9AM (EST).

The winners will be posted an hour before our next challenge goes live.
The overall winner will have the opportunity to be a
future Guest Designer.

Thank you for dropping by!

Inkspirational Challenge #285 - Word Prompt - Numbers...Happy 13 Birthday and #1 Coach (Lawn Fawn, Photoplay, Concord and 9th)

Hello,

Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #285, where our word prompt for the next two weeks is NUMBERS.  Large or small, several or solo, star of the stage or supporting player: as long as a number or numbers are visible on your card/project, the gallery is open to you!

I have a trio of cards to share. First, a birthday card - inspired in part by this one by Joan from Dear Paperlicious fame - for my gorgeous niece. Concord & 9th numbers; Poppy Stamps for the sentiment.
Happy and Birthday are cut with sparkle paper which, I've discovered, is as difficult to photograph as shimmery or foil paper is. Arg!

Next are two, of five cards, I made for my sister-in-law to give to my sweet nephew's hockey coaches. His team - the Riggers - is in playoffs this weekend, just down the road from us in Banff. And heck YES, I'm going to the games! Excited to see him play; fingers tightly crossed that they make it to the finale on Sunday (which, by the way, is also his 11th birthday).

Not sure why the sentiment (Lawn Fawn) on this one and the #1 (Concord & 9th) on the one below are blurry but after multiple photographs, I gave up. It is what it is. Finding hockey-themed images/papers/stickers is incredibly challenging; so happy that Photoplay came out with a hockey collection a while back. I may have to squirrel away some of it. A couple of STAMPlorations cover plates worked well to add some 'icy' texture to the backgrounds.

Excited to see how numbers will feature on your cards/projects.
Let's see if we can manage 70 entries this go-round!

Also sharing my first card at Seize the Birthday Challenge #257. I reckon *13* is no longer a child, so diving into the Anything Goes pool.

Just Us Girls Challenge #670 - WORD Week - RAINBOW...Oh, Hey, You're My Fav (C & 9th)

Hello,

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #670, where Elizabeth, our hostess, invites us feature a RAINBOW on our cards/projects this week. Given the cold temperatures and snow we've had recently, I am beyond ready for rainbows - real and faux!

Once again, we're delighted to have Guest Designer, Michele Ferguson, creating with us. Her take on rainbow is fabulous, as are those by my talented teamies.

My card features products from last October's Crop & Create: stencil and die from Concord & 9th and flowers from Pink and Main. My card is similar to one designed by Jennifer McGuire, in her session where she shared ideas for mixing products. I love the result, even if my version isn't as stellar as hers. I used - as did Jennifer - some stickles for one of the stencil layers; hard to see in the photo, but it's there. A little something to sparkle up a simple image.

I'm also sharing the Rainbow plushie - from Ellen Hutson - I stitched. Fun, simple and cute!

Looking forward to seeing your rainbow interpretations in the gallery.

Thank you for dropping by!

HLS Anything Goes with Dies - March 2023...St. Patrick's Day Rainbow (MCT)

Hello,

Welcome to Happy Little Stampers March 2023 Anything Goes with Dies Challenge. Bring those lovely bits of metal out for some fun!

How about a St. Patrick's Day rainbow? While I'm happy with my card - all shimmery, sheeny, sparkly in real life - the photo is awful! I can't seem to get proper lighting for white backgrounds so...this will have to do.

I also brought along a Leprechaun Gnome, all decked out in his gold and green.
All dies, except for the gnome, who is from Simon Says, are from MCT.

Looking forward to seeing your die-cut delights in the gallery!
