Inkspirational Challenge #225~Night...Happy Fright Night!

Hello,

Welcome to Inskpirational Challenge Challenge #225, where our word prompt is NIGHT!  Of course, you know exactly where I've gone with this theme...bwhahahahahahahah!

Three night Halloween cards; I'll let the pictures do the talking.

I had a spook-tacular amount of fun creating these!

Please check out where this prompt took my teammates, then play along with us!

See you in the gallery!

Just Us Girls Challenge #560~Wild Card Week...Candy Cane Merry Christmas (Word Die Cuts)

Hello,

Happy Halloween!  It will be interesting to see how many little trick-or-treators will be haunting the neighbourhood this evening. Hopefully, we'll get a few, as my husband has his 'physically distancing' candy-dispensing plans all figured out.  Lily and I will be watching from afar; no one needs to hear my barky girl going off *grin*

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #560, where our sweet hostess, Angie, is inviting us to use Word Die-Cuts for this Wild Card challenge.

A huge 'thank you' to Karen Walker, our guest designer, who shared wonderfully inspiring cards with us all month. Her finale is fantastic, as are those of my teammates: Sue, Angie, Vicki, Ina, Bobby, Nancy, Lisa and Maria. If you have a chance to leave comments, that would be wonderful!

Slowly making my way into Christmas cards, one of which I'm sharing here. Everything is from The Stamp Market, including the ink! The Merry is inset; Christmas popped up. Simple and easy!

Of course, I *have* to share yet another Halloween card! This was one I made for Scrapbooker and Cards Today World Card Making Day, earlier in the month, where Editor-in-Chief Susan R. Opel challenged us to draw inspiration from any project featured in their Fall 2020 issue and make it our own.  I selected a layout from pg. 73 and wound up with this:

The tall, skinny alphas from The Stamp Market are fantastic and a great way to use up a variety of my teensy patterned paper snippets!

That's it from me; looking forward to seeing how you're inspired to use Word Die-Cuts!

Just Us Girls Challenge #559~Photo Week...Halloween Rosette

Hello

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #559, where our sweet Nancy has selected this beautiful, cozy, I-want-to-curl-up-on-that-couch, image as our photo inspiration for the week.

Once again, we're delighted to have Karen Walker joining us as our October guest designer. You'll love her beautiful floral card, as well as all the fabulous interpretations by the rest of the team: Sue, Angie, Vicki, Ina, Bobby, Nancy, Lisa, and Maria. If you have a chance to leave comments, that would be wonderful!

October, as you already know, has a Halloween focus for me and even in the case of this lovely prompt, I managed to find a little bit of 'spooky' to play with! My plaid patterned paper rosette (which, by the way, has bat-shaped openings along the edge! True story!) is a nod to the flowers; the black/white stripes are inspired by the clock.  This one will have to be hand delivered; perhaps for Lily's daycare 'mom'...along with a sweet treat.

That's it from me; looking forward to seeing your photo-connected creations in the gallery!

Thank you for dropping by!

STAMPlorations 7th Birthday Day 5...Wheels Slimline Stencil Spooky!

Hello,

Welcome to the finale of STAMPlorations' 7th Birthday event.  Even though our design team sharing is a wrap, you still have plenty of time - until Nov. 8, to be precise - to play along with us! Remember: PRIZES to be had!

Throughout the week, I've shared birthday, love and thank you cards; today, time to dive into one of my favourite occasions for card-making: HALLOWEEN!  Here, I've used the brand-spanking new Wheels ARTploration Slimline Stencil to create my background. And yes, masking was involved, but because of the size and spacing of the design, it was easy-peasy! Die-cut sentiment and a trio of googly eyes finished off my 'oh-so-scary' card!

As you can likely tell, this stencil has a ton of possibilities!  I 'may' have a handful of backgrounds ready and waiting in the wings....

I'll be back tomorrow with another card. Please head over to the STAMPlorations blog to see my teammates' awesome creations (and remember to leave comments; that's an easy entry) and to read more about how to be eligible for PRIZES!

Before you go, a note about Sales/Promotions

All products in the store are 10% off instantly throughout October.

If you use my code: STAMPGIRLCAROLM - you'll receive 20% off your order AND receive this not-yet-released stencil, Just Plaid square stencil (10 mil):

Thank you for dropping by!

STAMPlorations 7th Birthday Day 4...Have an Amazing Birthday: Circle Texture Cover Plate

Hello,

Welcome to Day 4 of STAMPlorations' 7th Birthday event; still plenty of celebration going on!

Today, I'm featuring another new addition to the store: Circles All Over Texture Cover Plate. Such an easy way to add some texture/interest to a background.  I've kept my version - as you can see - VERY clean and simple, with a run through of the die on the panel and an assortment of Blue Shimmer Sequins. A sentiment from  Party Time - Shery Russ Designs finishes it off.

I'll be back tomorrow with another card. Please head over to the STAMPlorations blog to see my teammates' awesome creations (and remember to leave comments; that's an easy entry) and to read more about how to be eligible for PRIZES!

STAMPlorations 7th Birthday Day 3...Bamboo Slimline Stencil: Thanks and Happy Belated Birthday

Hello,

Wednesday...already! This week is whooshing by as, it seems, so many are!  That said, we're still not done celebrating STAMPlorations' 7th Birthday Party!  Welcome to Day 3 of the festivities!  Hope you're also joining in with us!

Today, I'm sharing two slimline cards featuring the fabulous new Bamboo Slimline ARTplorations Stencil. I googled a few bamboo images - both realistic and stylized - and settled on an ink combination, bottom-to top, of Peeled Paint, Tattered Rose, Old Paper, Iced Spruce and the lightest dusting of Weathered Wood.  The sentiment is from Thank You Coffee - Shery Russ Designs; the panda, from my stash.

For my second card, inks are: Mowed Lawn, Salty Ocean, Speckled Egg and Antique Linen. The sentiment is from Party Time.

The entire collection of slimline stencils is, in a word, awe-mazing! Possibilities galore and definitely something - or several somethings - sure to catch your eye!

I'll be back tomorrow with another card. Please head over to the STAMPlorations blog to see my teammates' awesome creations (and remember to leave comments; that's an easy entry) and to read more about how to be eligible for PRIZES!

STAMPlorations 7th Birthday Day 2...Zodiac Stencil Love You to the Moon and Back

Hello,

Welcome to Day 2 of  STAMPlorations' 7th Birthday event!  Have you had a chance to join in the celebrations?  Three fun ways...and the first two are super-duper easy!

For today's card, I ink-blended a night sky to showcase the new Zodiac Set 1 ARTplorations Stencil - Sanna Lippert Designs.  Gina K's Glitter Gel makes for *the* perfect starry sparkle. I added a silver embossed sentiment from the Power of Words - Dee's Artsy Impressions set and mounted the 'whole universe' on the largest panel of the Crazy Double Running Stitch Nesting Dies.

I'll be back tomorrow with another card. Please head over to the STAMPlorations blog to see my teammates' awesome creations (and remember to leave comments; that's an easy entry) and to read more about how to be eligible for PRIZES!

STAMPlorations 7th Birthday Day 1...Rainbow Slimline Stencil Birthday

Hello,

Welcome to STAMPlorations' 7th Birthday, where we're celebrating BIG TIME with five days of DT inspiration and three ways for you to join the festivities with us!

My Day 1 card features the new Rainbow ARTplorations Stencil - Sanna Lippert Designs, which I paired with Skinny Sentiments and Party Time to create a fun birthday card!  I used the larger of the stencils; the smaller ones are pretty adorable and will appear on a future make! Who cares that we have snow here (yes, yes we do); rainbows are always in style!

Hope this made you smile! I'll be back tomorrow with another card. Please head over to the main STAMPlorations blog to see my teammates' awesome creations (and remember to leave comments; that's an easy entry) and to read more about how to be eligible for PRIZES!

Inkspirational Challenge #224~Photo Inspiration...Carve Out Some Halloween Fun

Hello,

Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #224, where this pretty, yet eerie Fall/Halloween photo serves as inspiration! I don't think I'd want to be wandering through the woods and wind up encountering the witch and whatever that creepy thing is beside her!  Yikes! On the other hand, the fall leaves and blue sky are inviting...

Given I'm still dialed on Halloween-mode, I wound up creating this...

That Jack o' Lantern looks like he has a rash! Ooops...perhaps I should have selected a different patterned paper! Oh well...hahahahaha!

Please check out where this photo took my teammates, then play along with us!

See you in the gallery!

Just Us Girls Challenge #558~Colour Week (Purple, Black, Orange)...Hey Boo and Spooky Sunday Drive Cars

Hello,

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #558, where our lovely hostess, Maria, has selected PURPLE, BLACK and ORANGE for this week's colour challenge.  Perfect palette for Halloween!!

Once again, we're delighted to have Karen Walker joining us as our October guest designer. You'll love her spook-tacular card, as well as all the cool creations by the rest of the team:  SueAngieVickiInaBobbyNancyLisa, and Maria. If you have a chance to leave comments, that would be wonderful!

I brought out my Sunday Drive set, pairing it with the Halloween add-on dies.  Some simple mix-and-matching with the colours and ta dahhhh...four *more* Halloween cards done. The spider web backgrounds on the white panel card are from a long-ago, much-loved Winnie & Walter set; the orange/black is patterned paper.

These become easier to assemble the more I play with them; next will be the Christmas version.

That's it from me; looking forward to seeing your PURPLEBLACK and ORANGE creations in the gallery!

Thank you for dropping by!

The Color Hues Challenge #4~Blue and Orange...Pinwheel Congratulations and Painted Dots Thank You

Hello,

Is this month whooshing by as quickly for you as it is for me? Hard to believe we're already mid-October; hard to believe that it's time for a new Colour Hues Challenge #4~Blue & Orange!  A fabulous pairing for Fall/Halloween or whatever sparks your imagination!

My first card features The Greetery Pinwheels stencils and dies, generously loaned to me by you sweet friend, Karen. This is such a cool concept; I made sure to ink up a bunch of the pinwheels - both in the version here and individually, for down-the-road.  Two shades of blue; two of orange...easy-peasy!

My second card marks the debut of my new C & 9th Painted Dots turnabout. Such fun! I paired it with a sentiment from The Stamp Market and...that was that!

Please visit the rest of the team; you'll be sooooo impressed by their creativity:

The challenge is open until 9:00 AM (EST) on October 29th.
The winners will be posted an hour before our next challenge goes live.
The overall winner will have the opportunity to be a
future Guest Designer!

Thank you for dropping by!
