it's also off to:
STAMPlorations May Challenge: Stamps and Flowers (heaven knows we are ready to see flowers around here!!!)
My card - and a first time attempt at a loop-de-loop around my flower. I think I need more loopies for a fuller loopy effect...(speaking of loopy...pick me!). May need to do renovations before this card heads out...
Thanks so much for dropping by; your visit and comments make my day!
I think your loops are just fine on this card! Love your take on the inspiration! Thanks for taking the Time Out to play with us!
So pleased to see you, again Carol and the loops are good, I find them so hard to do! Thanks for joining us at TIME OUT and STAMPlorations
I'm out of the loop but you sure aren't with this card! It's beautiful and a gorgeous take on the inspiration piece!
I really like your loops! That patterned paper is so perfect on this card and the thread- nicely done. So glad to have found you through the Simon Says Stamp challenge.
If you're feeling lucky, hop on over to my blog. I've posted a comment party to win some blog candy.
Thank you for your lovely comments.. Made my day! And yeah I'm not good at loopy string but yours looks really lovely as does your card! Beautiful placement x
Hey sweetie, you did an amazing job the colours are so summery its been so dull here we need a bit of cheering up and your card did that for me, I love this one, you will be needing my postal address then to post it out to me :0) huggles Pops x x x
This is beautiful, Carol! I've been loving the loopies & need to try it myself--yours looks good to me!
So pretty, spring-like, and overall delightful, Carol ... including the loop de loops! What great use you made of that unexpected Sunday! Hugs, Anita :)
Your loop-de-loops are perfectly delightful! Anything loopier would surely have stolen the limelight away from that gorgeous blossom...great job pulling the tan/kraft color from the DP! The scalloped border looks awesome!
haha!! I like your loops!! I have tried, but they never look good for me, but you did it wonderfully!! Very pretty card!!
Hiya Loopy! I actually knew a girl in High School who's nick name was Loopy. Very sweet card. And I'm adoring that bloom! Love the colors you've chosen for it. It really compliments all your other papers so well. Love this!! Glad you got home safely. Bev
Don't touch a thing! No renos required - nope, not a one!! Love, LOVE it just the way it is (suddenly I'm hearing Billy Joel in my head!). It's beautiful, Carol - and your loop-de-loo - super awesome!! How do you keep nailing all of your "first trys"?!!
I have tried many times with the loopy thing and failed every time!
I am in love with your colors and patterns! It's all just a perfect backdrop for the gorgeous flower!
I don't think your card needs any renovations Carol and your loop-de-loops look fabulous!! Now I would have made a hot mess of them myself. lol I love your take on the Virginia's card, the colors are so beautiful-loving that pattern paper!!
