Welcome to Inkspiration Challenge #152~Photo Inspiration (our first challenge of 2018! WOW!), where we have an elegant, gorgeous image to spark your creativity! Violin, roses, pearls, lace...oh. my. stars! So much beauty to capture....
I LOVE the white, the pink roses, the pale greens and the 'shape' of the violin, so that's what I tried to reflect in my card....I even 'sort of' water coloured - and held my breath with every stroke of the brush!

I love your interpretation of the beautiful inspiration photo. Your soft pink roses and soft green leaves look so delicate and elegant on the white background. The white die-cut pretty shape in the middle is just the perfect to represent the violin. Amazing design Carol!!! This would also fit the CAS Watercolour Birthday challenge if you'd like to join us. xx
Oh my goodness, Carol!! This is gorgeous! Those roses are so beautiful. I agree with Loll! They are soft and elegant and shaded wonderfully. You did a fantastic job watercoloring them. I really like the frame, too. It really suits the violin shape. Wonderful, beautiful card! Happy weekend!

Gorgeous card and a fabulous take on the photo!! Love the soft colours and how the die you used mimics the shape of the bottom of the violin.
This is gorgeous! Those roses are really bold and wonderful and your "watercoloring" is so lovely! This card has just enough color, but is very subtle which makes it so elegant. I really love this one... fantastic work!
