Pink, Pink and Pink...The Card Concept Challenge #3: Use Monochromatic Pink

Back again...

I didn't really "plan" the next series of cards (part of the multitude going to my niece's classmates) with the The Card Concept Challenge #3: Use Monochromatic Pink in mind.

Dreamy, soft, lovely image...that cabinet is welcome in my home any time. Wait, actually, I want to live where that cabinet currently resides; I can only imagine how stunning the rest of the house must be...

In making the first card, however, I realized that the only patterned papers I was drawn to were pink.  So, when the flow is going, might as well just be swept along..

The first set - 5 total - I think, are Freestyle Collage (in mini-fashion):

The second set of three might be the same, or maybe bold and graphic...however, they have a background layer, so maybe I was right on the first count...

And that, my friends, is a WRAP!! My 51 Valentine cards are done. Finished. Complete.  I'm happy, and I sure hope my sister-in-law, niece and nephew will be too, along with those they share these little creations with.  For now, I'm setting aside all things Valentine.  Time to do something completely different (and not pink *grin*)

Your patience, support and encouragement through the Valentine-a-athon: appreciated more than you can possibly know!!   Oh yes, did I mention: my sister-in-law also put in a request for birthday party invitations...35 (obviously something 'not' held at their house...egads! - Plus it covers both kids' birthdays, as they're March babies). Just sayin'...(I promise: one of a kind.  I'm going with as cute as possible, but mass-producing is definitely on the agenda...boring for me, but 35 different invites?  Even *I* know better....)

Thanks so much for dropping by; your visit and comments make my day!

Well if the Birthdays are March and its mass production you want then its gotta be bunnies all the way. You know what they say put 2 bunnies in a cage and you have house full before you have time to say rabbits rabbits rabbits!!!
I don't have J J's dress but I do have her pink boots! hugs Mrs A.

Well done, Ms Carol! Such a wonderful achievement and each creation is just darling. You're a clever girl. There's little wonder your sis booked you in for birthday invitations. :) Definitely go the mass production route. :) Put on a movie and the time will pass by before you know it....and you'll be so OVER it by the end. :) I just cannot wait to see what you come up with. I just know it is going to be a Ms C Masterpiece! :)

Woot WOOT!! You're finished!! Whew!! What an accomplishment!!!! You must be SO happy and maybe a smidge relieved too?!! What a huge task this was, and did you ever "bring it" with every one of your creations!! The final eight are just the icing on the cake! Fun, charming, sweet and just like the rest of them, perfect!!! Everyone, from your SIL, to your niece and nephew, to the students, to the teachers are going to be enamoured with what you have made!! True gifts from the heart!!!! And with barely a breath in between, birthday invitations are next on the list! I agree 100% - MASS PRODUCTION is the only way to go!!!! Congrats on crossing the finish line for your Valentines!!!!!!!!

Ha ha! You make me laugh, I love reading your posts! So much of it resonates with me!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Completing 51 Valentine's cards is no mean feat and I'm rather glad it was you who had that task to complete and not me!! :) You've done a fab job and I wouldn't blame you if you didn't make another love-based card for a long while! These cards are absolutely beautiful - your SIL is gonna love them!!

And now 35 invitations! You're like a card making machine! I am 100% behind the mass production of one design idea - you'll burn yourself out otherwise! Good luck with the invites, I can't wait to see what you come up with :)

Oh Yeah! You nailed the monochromatic challenge dear friend! What an amazing display of 'mini-style' freestyle collage (doesn't that sound cute?) and bold & graphic (I think you called it right)! You wrapped up your gi-normous Valentine card making marathon in the grandest fashion! Awesome work Carol. Thanks for sharing your cards with us at CCC!!!
