Welcome to the first Uniko Studio Non-Release Design Team Blog Hop & GIVEAWAY of 2019. I'm delighted to join Bev, our wonderful leader and designer extraordinaire, and my teammates to showcase our favourite product released from 2018. Given that a total of 23 new clear stamp sets, 2 re-introduced clear stamp sets, 14 stencil designs and 2 new designer die collections were launched in 2018, making a choice was not easy! Soooo much to love!
After much debate, I settled on the 'one' product that really does make my heart sing: the Pure Florals: Chrysanthemum Stencil. Yes, 'just' a stencil, but I adore it. Plentiful possibilities to bring it to life and the best part: the memories it evokes of my grandmother's garden, filled with colourful, lush chrysanthemums as big as our heads (I exaggerate not...they were gorgeous and gi-normous!).
I opted for rainbow, because in my world, chrysanthemums can be any and all colours, and paired it with a sentiment from Simply Said Blocks and a smattering of Pretty Pink Posh crystals.
Rainbows make me smile; so do chrysanthemums! Hope my card brings you a smile, too.
Please visit my teammates to see how beautifully they've showcased their favourite products and do leave comments as you go to be in the running to win a Uniko £25 eGift Certificate.
You have until Midnight (GMT) Saturday 19th January 2019 to comment; the winner will be announced Sunday 20th 2019.
Thank you for dropping by!
Super happy pretty creation. What a gorgeous stencil. Hugz
This is just beautiful, Carol! And even more beautiful to me is your memory of your sweet grandmother. I love how wonderfully you blend your ink colors. Thank you so very much for sharing.
Love this bold colorful image - the sentiment just POPS in black - thanks for the ideas:)
Good choice, Carol. That chrysanthemum is truly a stunner. I have some pink daisy-like mums that bloom here every Fall, and they make me smile every time I see them. Your cards is so pretty, and I love that you did it in rainbow! Clever girl. How's Lily? Fun, I'll bet!! xo Bev
I love this stencil and love your card and the rainbow, it's beautiful.
What else would the Queen of Stencils pick but a stencil. Love this in its array of rainbow colors.

CAS, rainbow, contrasting sentiment... what could be better? This is a beautiful card.
Wow, so big & bold! Love this beauty.
Simply delicious Carol! I was tempted to use the Chrysanthemum stencil too but thankfully decided against it having seen this beauty. Those rainbow colours are just fabulous and I wish the flower grew in those colours IRL too! Brilliant idea! xx
Ooh this is so beautiful! I love the soft colors and the stencil! :)
Absolutely love the rainbow floral card and the stencil!!
Love the rainbow chrysanthemum. Very pretty!
Wow! Stunning colouring!!! Beautiful card!!!
Beautiful card, I love the softness!
Yummy delicious colours and my favourite stencil too!
Big patterns always intimidate me - but you've given me such inspiration with this! Love the soft colors. And the bitty sentiment in black is perfectly "framed" by that big chrysanthemum!
Beautifully done, Carol ... soft and lovely ... and yes, it had me smiling! Hugs, Anita :)
Gorgeous, Carol ! I also love this stencil and I would never thought of using it with rainbow colours, it's fabulous. But above all I love the story behind, your grandmother's garden with enormous chrysanthemums. My grandmother's garden was filled with hydrangeas, lots of them and also enormous....may be one day Bev will make one design with hydrangea. Have a great weekend !
WOW! Just WOW! You already know how much I love this. You have worked wonders with this stencil and achieved a seamless rainbow ink blend that I am truly jealous of! Stunning inspiration :) Hugs Bev x
Carol, your colourful Chrysanthemum looks so beautiful! And yes, it brought a big smile to my face (it's grey and cloudy outside), cause I also love flowers and rainbows! Thank you for this highlight!
