'Tis the Season...Uniko Challenge #38, Freshly Made Sketches #265

Hello,

We are entering the freezer zone here...and it's expected to last for the entire week! Temperatures hovering around highs of -18C and lows of -26C (-4F to -15F) is enough to have my timbers shivering, I tell you!  Time to bring out the mondo North Face parka!

Anyway...on a warmer note....Let me show you what happened when I married Freshly Made Sketches #265
with the gorgeous photo over at Uniko Challenge #38. That fireplace...the sparkly tree...the garland on the mantle...oh my!

NOTE: thrilled to be selected for an Honourable Mention at Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #265! THANK YOU!!

I wonder what would happen if I tried this with snowflakes?  Perhaps we'll see....

Brrrrr, that is awful cold Carol!!! I don't think my joints would move at all in those temps!! I think I will stay right here. We have been down in the 20's at night, but the days have been in the lower 40's. I won't complain about the cold here anymore! lol I am in love with your card!!! It looks fabulous and you are spot on with the sketch. Love, love, love. Stay warm!!!! Hugs, Brenda

Thank you for the wonderful card and inspiration. Big hugs to you for keeping warm. That arctic freeze is heading my way, too. I say stay home and stamp the day away! :)

Such a festive card. Here on Crete, our day temperatures are as low as 10 °C, which is really cold winter weather for this region. Makes me really thankful that we have central heating in our modern house.
