Hello,
Happy February 1st and welcome to Color Hues Challenge #57, where our sweet Jules has selected hues of coral and sage as inspiration for the next two weeks.
We're also delighted to have Karren and Janet as our guest designers. They've created fabulous cards, as have my team mates.
I struggled with this combination; three cards wound up in recycle before it finally dawned on me to reach for a Concord & 9th turnabout stamp. They always offer a solution! Here, I've used Stitched and it worked wonderfully with lighter/darker shades of coral and sage!
Looking forward to seeing how this combination inspires you.
You have until Feb. 14th @ 9:00am EST to join us.

Glad you stuck with it, Carol because this is charming and ever so lovely!
Oh wow! So glad you thought of this, it's a beautiful card. I have that turnabout, but so don't own a pretty coral color ink. Maybe I can find a similar color palette. I just love this!
I struggled awhile, too, and had a pile of not-quite-right pieces on my desk before I finally hit upon an answer. Your solution is just perfect! I love the soft colors and the design of the card is so beautiful!
Love this Carol, the soft colours and delicate stamping are a perfect match. :)
I have this turnabout stamp set and have sadly never used it, and now I'm wondering why after seeing your beautiful card Carol! Obviously it was made for these colors as it shows off this design just perfectly! Lovely, lovely card!! Hugs. :0)
I am glad I glanced at all three of your cards; none were awful and deserved such treatment...LOL. You always make these turnabout stamps so appealing to someone who has none! Well done! Hugs!
I absolutely adore your card Carol - the turnabout pattern couldn't be more perfect for these colors and make a sweet birthday card!
Love using few colors--just lighter & darker! Wonderful card, Carol! Thanks for the well-wishes!
You already know how much I love this design but I'm stating it again for the record. :-)
