The skies are blue, the birds are chirping, the peaks of the Three Sisters mountains, though still dressed in snow in spots, are bathed in sunlight: a most pretty morning indeed.
I was a chore-whirlwind much of yesterday (do you remember the Tasmanian Devil character from the Bugs Bunny cartoons? Yep that was me, minus the growls...well, maybe a little bit *grin*), cleaning up, baking up, pizza-dough rising up, and even a bit of crafting up. My husband came home, a tad travel weary, but still able to carry out our homemade pizza tradition for Saturday evening. He also came bearing gifts: a cherry pie made by his mom. Yummm!
While he was away, some of my crafting orders arrived (yes...I've done a wee bit of shopping of late...) and I *had* to play with one set, in particular - Clearly Besotted's Sunburst (crushing over, smitten by and in love with these images!) - to create three cards for a few different challenges.
First up, inspired by Colour Me #67
Second, inspired by FUSION~Elegance
NOTE; Honoured and delighted that Kimberly selected my card for FUSION Honourable Mention! THANK YOU!!
Third, inspired by ColourQ #287~
I'm also off to:
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge~Make Your Own Backgrounds (Cards #1 and 3)
Simon Says Monday Challenge~In the Middle (smaller images are stamped *in the middle* of larger ones...hope that counts)
Wishing you a wonderful Sunday and THANKS so much for dropping by! Your visit and comments add sparkle to my day!
WOW! Talk about rocking out a stamp set! That 3rd one is amazing - the red POPS off the page in gorgeousness! Well done!
Love them all
Hugs Sylvie x
These are just gorgeous sweetie but my eyes are drawn to the black and white one, funny as I usually go towards pinks, maybe as I am a girl lol, hope you enjoyed your cheery pie, big happy hugs love Pops x
Okay my catch up starts here, I will be working newest to oldest. Love the three takes on the same fab stamp sets Carol! You nailed all the current colour challenges!

Thank you for stopping by and leaving your sweet comments!!! Sending you a BIG HUG!!!
Love the variations you created with the same stamp :) my favorite is the black and white :D
Yum. Cherry pie. My favorite. ;) You showed how versatile a stamp set can be by just changing the colors and the arrangement of the images. You have three great cards there, Carol.
You've gone sunburst crazy Carol. But hey I LOVE how you've worked this set.
I've not even tried the sunbursts in my set yet but you've just given me masses of inspiration. Fantastic takes on all the challenges Carol. You're a star! X
Fabulous in every color and placement, c... my favorite pie, too! Lovely!
Wow, Carol, these are fabulous! You've worked your magic on all of these. Now I think I must have that set.
Pink and green is one of my favorite colour combos to use and you aced it on the first card. Adore red, white and black cards too - they always make such a statement - great cards! If you didn't growl then I'm sure you were panting like Taz does after his whirlwind spins LOL! Love that character. Good on you for getting lots done and no doubt cleaning up youe crafting area prior to hubby's arrival or no pie for you wink, wink :) Yeah for sunshine too!! Must be a simply glorious sight to see those mountain peeks of white against a blue sky - we are so spoilled with the breath taking scenery in this part of the world. 18C here today and simply gorgeous! soooo hard not to be out there planting my flower beds and planters - just a bit too early yet. Three more weeks and then I'm good to go and can't wait for pops of colour all over the place as I just LOVE flowers :) :) :)
WHat a fantastic idea - I love that you completed 3 challenges with one stamp set! I love the graphic drama of the black and white, but you've shown the set's versatility with the other cards, too!
Oooh, LOVE these! And that stamp set...awesome!
hi sweet lady, love this design. The blue and red totally looks like fireworks. Love them all. Thanks for joining us at Colour Me!

WOW...these are amazing, truly amazing Carol. I love how changing the colors changes up the entire look of your cards. Hmmmm. home made pizza? I love pizza, maybe you would not mind sharing your recipe for your crust...Thank you so much for playing along with us at ColourQ, hope to see you again next week!
well, I'm suppose to be cleaning but my computer keeps calling to me and then I stop cleaning...comment a smidge and start cleaning again. I love what you've done with your cards...how FUN!
Oh my, you totally rocked this set! All three cards are so pretty but the black and white one is a stunner!
You must be so happy to have your hubby back home even if it means that you have to clean up your craft area every night... ;)))
Oh my goodness!!! These are beautiful, Carol!!!! This stamp set is currently out of stock....anxiously awaiting!!!
Looks like you gave that new set a good workout - these are all wonderful...its amazing how different they all look, just with the colour change. The first is so soft and pretty and the black is beautifully bold! Thanks for playing along at Colour Q this week!
Love, love, love when I can see the same card theme in different formats and colors! And wow- you did an amazing job on each card! Each one is so unique and you've done those stamps proud! Also jealous of the homemade pie. ;) You have a great eye for design and I love how you positioned the stamp images on each card. The color palettes are dreamy, too! Excellent work and I'm so glad you shared these with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
Fantastic work, Carol! I can see why you are crushing on this set. Wow! Great color choices. Your stamping makes each of the cards unique and so visually interesting. Yay for getting the chores done so you could enjoy some crafty time. (Yes, I most certainly remember that little devil-kids today have missed out on some classic cartoons). Bet that pie was scrumptious!
Oh these sunbursts could be your new butterflies! You have worked wonders with them!!! I may need a little shopping spree myself. Thanks for the inspiration. You have worked these wonderful images into the challenges superbly!
That is one cool trio of cards! Amazing how different those stamps look in those different color combos! My favorite is the last one - so striking! Somehow I can NOT envision you as a Tasmanian Devil, LOL!
Great collection of cards using the same stamp set! Love them all, and love how they look so different in different colors. Thanks for sharing your creations with us at Colour Me, Carol!
So exciting to see how you can use one stamp set and change up the colors and the styling and then create three marvelous masterpieces!! Wow - and I am so inspired by this and wondering what stamp set I have that I could do something like this with!! What awesome proof that you are an incredible card maker and so adaptable in your designs!! Kudos to you, my lovely, lovely friend!!
WOWZERS....times 3!!! These are magnificent! Your images are all perfectly placed to create a stunning, beautifully balanced design! No doubt about it, ya got the eye for design! It's amazing how the colors change the mood of the card...from a 'celebrate' spring (?) color theme in your first card, to a 4th of July type of smile event, to a more masculine 'thanks' with your last card!
I think you must be an energiser bunny! You did all that AND created three knock out cards! Amazing, C!
It's amazing how you can create completely different looks with the same design but different colors. Love the first card the most!
Looks like you had some fun with your new goodies Carol! :) Love all the different colours you've used and how each one looks so different from the others. xx
These sunbursts are so perfect for your card making style, Carol! I love how you arranged them differently on each card, and the color combos are fabulous! My fave is the last one...Love the bold sentiment! Hope all is well...Hugs to you!

Wow, Carol ... I can understand you crushing on this set ... but it's what you've done with it that make it positively want-able!! These are just beautiful ... such different looks ... each rather wonderful and gaze-able, my friend! Hugs, Anita :)
