Hello,
Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #730, where our fabulous hostess, Carol Mc, has selected Pink and Aqua for her first-ever Colour challenge. Such a pretty combination!
A new month means a new guest designer; we're delighted to have Jane Taylor joining us for May. Welcome aboard, Jane.
I'm smitten with both my BetterPress and Glimmer systems; both came into play for this challenge. I'm featuring the older - but new to me - Quadrant Backdrop press plate, stencil and die from Pinkfresh Studio. Silver foil to add some glimmer to the plate, then stenciled with assorted PFS, distress and C & 9th inks. The sentiment is from Spellbinders. My photo doesn't do justice to how pretty this combination is in real life.
Looking forward to seeing a gallery filled with Pink and Aqua!

Beautiful card. Love the way you showcased pink and aqua in the background.
Carol... I have no doubt your card just sparkles in real life. Overall I am a bit bummed that photography doesn't seem to capture the wonder of foil without a professional hand. I love the quadrant stencil/stamp... the randomness of it is mesmerizing. It would make a great quilt. Such a fun card, Carol.
Fabulous use of the colors that background is very awesome
So pretty and dreamy...love this pink and aqua graphic design!! I know it shimmers in person but the way you stenciled it is soft and gradient like dainty flower petals. Great card for our challenge this week!
The colors meld beautifully with the graphic design of your card, Carol. Both Glimmer and Better Press? You go girl!
Very pretty! I love how you've used the colours!
I love my Glimmer system too, Carol, and I just got a Betterpress as a birthday gift. I can not wait to use it. I love the way you used both for this wonderful card. What a wonderful background and use of our challenge colors. Your foiled sentiment is the perfect finish! Wonderful card.
That background is amazing and the foiled sentiment looks fantastic! Beautiful use of this week's colors!
This is so lovely. Gorgeous colour combo and just that hint of shimmer. Perfect! xxx
