Hello,
Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #635, where our wonderful Lisa E has selected *Paintbrush* as this week's theme. Lisa's reason for selecting this prompt is lovely, so I'll just quote it here: "I think spring is the time of year when our world comes alive with beautiful colors. It's like God takes out His paintbrush and the earth is His canvas!"
Talented Lucie, from LucieG Cards, joins us our June guest designer! Welcome, Lucie! You'll delight in her card as well as those from the team!
Marking its debut is my Artful Etched Tulip Dies from Spellbinder's Paint Your World Collection. The entire collection is delightful, but I was especially smitten with this one. I paired it with a decorative ink-smooshed (I know...I actually did some smooshing!) oval from Pinkfresh and a TH sentiment that reads (because the photo didn't capture it well): "There is beauty in simplicity." So true!
Looking forward to seeing how 'paintbrush' inspires you!
Let's fill the gallery with an abundance of colour!

Lovely card, Carol. The flowers coming out of the brush are so pretty. Yay for smooshing!
Carol... I am starting to think I am missing the new die of the moment! Love how everyone is using this paintbrush!!! Just gorgeous!
Fun way to make the paintbrush a vase. Very clever
This is so pretty! I love the tulips coming from the paintbrush. It matches your sentiment so nicely. Love the smooshing technique on your oval!
This is perfectly charming, Carol! Love those little tulips tucked into the brush!
I love this! That paintbrush with the leaves and tulips emerging out of the handle looks amazing. Love that paint splattered oval, too!
This is so lovely with tulips replacing the brush, Carol. It looks great on the smooshed oval. Good for you for jumping on the smooshing wagon.
I love how you replaced all of the bristles with leaves and tulips, Carol. I prefer your design over the bristles for sure. Awesome smooshed background and sentiment too. Another unique and wonderful card! Have a great week!
Such a soft and feminine card Carol. Those tulips are so pretty in front of that lovely die cut. Great sentinent!
