Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #619, where our lovely hostess, Sue, invites us, as this week's trend, to make our own stencils from a die/dies.
I used Studio Katia's Loop die for my stencil, which I cut from cardstock. The first card is the 'actual' stenciled version; the dots are filled with MFT X, O and heart dies cut from assorted gold glitter and mirror paper. Sentiment is also MFT.
Because the dots cut from a panel, I wound up with a second card. The apertures are filled with chipboard hearts and a sticker sentiment. Yayyyy for a twofer!
Oh how fun! Love a good two-fer! These are lovely, Carol!
These are so pretty! I love the gold accents! I did the same making a second card from the “stencil”. So fun to get for one!
Carol... your twofer is brilliant! Such a fab use of a stencil. Love both valentines... the tic tac toe idea is adorable!
You betcha, yay for a twofer and they're both adorable!
I love both versions with the pretty ombre pink! Love the gold hearts, x's and o's and those chipboard hearts on the second are fabulous! Way to embrace this challenge!
Two fabulous cards and no surprise here! Love the first card with the pops of gold and the gradient color of pink. Also, that sentiment die cut is a super fun shape! Your second card looks wonderful too! I like that the hearts aren't perfect and a bit on the wonky side. We all need a bit of wonky in our lives! HUGS!
Double yay! because your twofer's are so fabulous, Carol. The soft pink with gold is elegant.
Sweet as and so gorgeous - love the pink and gold x and o on the first card then the mix of colours on those super shaped hearts. Both really beautiful!
Perfect layout on both cards. I love those O’s and X’s!
Wow! You passed this challenge theme with flying colors, Carol. Making a second card using your homemade stencil itself is brilliant. And those two cards are lovely.
