Autumn Chair Thanks...Serendipity Stamps Blog Hop (October #1)

Hello,

It seems like only yesterday that I was here, sharing my DT Pumpkin Tower card for Serendipity's blog hop...and now, we're into the rounds for October! I need time to sloooowwww down (someone has not started her Christmas cards! Panic button to be pressed any day now)!  Because your time is precious, I'd best get a move on...

Welcome to the Serendipity Stamps October Blog Hop (#1), where my incredible DT and I are sharing a whole bunch of Serendipity Stamps sensations. To be in the running for a $20 gift certificate, just hop along the DT blogs (you should have come from incredibly talented, sweet Patti Kehl's blog) and leave a comment.  Here's the list.

Today, my card features the 50% off stamp-of-the-month: Autumn Chair, coloured on kraft with prisma pencils and paired with the sweet Thanks (small) sentiment. A deep brown panel and...ta dahhh...a Fall thank you card ready to go!

I enjoyed trying out some colour blends on the pumpkin...with the net result leading to cravings for pumpkin spice muffins and pumpkin pie, not to mention ideas for getting a wreath for the front door!  Some shopping and, perhaps baking, on my list!

Please head over to Serendipity Stamps Blog for more how-to-win details as well as for some scoops on sales.

The 50% off Stamp of the Month:  Autumn Chair

Next on the list is wonderfully talented Miriam Napier. Enjoy!

Before I send you off, I'd like to share the following news regarding our sweet teammate, Marybeth Lopez:

We are all saddened to learn that Marybeth's son-in-law was shot three times in the Las Vegas act of terror. Marybeth and her husband were watching their daughter and son-in-law's six children so that the parents could have a getaway on their own for the first time. He had surgery to address his injuries and will be needing more. Marybeth has asked for your prayers and positive thoughts for her son-in-law's recovery. Thank you so much.

Thank you for dropping in today; your visit brings me joy!

Oh my gosh, Carol! I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's son. That whole situation is absolutely, utterly senseless and I really cannot wrap my head around how somebody could do something so horrific. I hope your friend's son in law is able to recover and the family can heal. As for your card. LOVE! Your coloring is gorgeous! Perfect for fall. I also really like the frame with the shapely cutout. It frames the image so nicely. Just wonderful cardmaking at work here. Thanks ever so much for sharing. Big hugs!!

Love the Autumn Chair stamp you used! So pretty framed in the dark brown cardstock layer with the beautiful contour, and your coloring looks great!
Prayers for Marybeth's son-in-law!

Look at you and that great coloring! My daughter "borrowed" my giant zip lock bag of colored pencils - I'm calling her now to get them back! I love coloring with pencils!
