September 1st...ohmystars! We're still in the midst of hot weather here in Alberta; nice to have summer lingering for a while longer.
Welcome to Color Hues Challenge #71 where our sweet Tracey invites us to use hues of Tangerine and Violet for the next two weeks. A beautiful Fall combination for so many occasions, including Thanksgiving (Oct. 9th in Canada) and one of my all-time favourite crafting occasions: Halloween.
Guess what I used? Yep, a turnabout; specifically a new-comer to my collection. Concord & 9th's Pumpkin patch is delightful and pairing it with the Playful Pumpkins bundle makes for easy Thanksgiving (or anything pumpkin-themed) cards. I came as close as I could with violet and tangerine inks in my collection, sometimes stamping them off for lighter shades or double stamping for darker. Close enough...
Looking forward to a pretty gallery once again.

Every time you use a turnabout stamp, I am always so impressed and tell myself to get mine out and actually use them, but then rarely do! This is just SO pretty Carol that I just may have to actually get busy over here!! Love, LOVE this card!! Hugs. :0)
You rock these turnabout stamp sets Carol, another beauty. My son's future in laws are in Edmonton at the moment visiting relatives, they've obviously had better weather than we've experienced this last month! :)

This caught my eye first thing in the gallery, Carol! Those turn about pumpkins make such a fun and happy design! What a great job you did matching the colors. The dies top it off beautifully!
Carol, you did a fab job varying the two challenge colors with turnabout stamp set and I totally love the die cut pumpkin and leaves as the main image. A wonderful card for Thanksgiving!
