Color Hues Challenge #69 - Teal & Orange - Just A Note (C and 9th - For the Record)

Welcome to Colour Hues Challenge #69, where our talented hostess, Sheri, invites us to use hues of Teal and Orange as inspiration for the next two weeks.

We're delighted to have Deborah joining us as our guest designer for this challenge.

I had yet another play with my Concord and 9th For the Record and Greatest Hits bundles. These are soooo much fun, especially as during the entire time crafting, I'm filled with back-in-the-day recollections of listening to vinyl records. Quality sound, those.

A little 'record' note card tucked into the envelope adds the sweetest touch.

This challenge will be open until August 14th @ 9AM!

The winners will be posted an hour before our next challenge goes live.
The overall winner will have the opportunity to be a
future Guest Designer!

Thank you for dropping by!

This is just the cutest card Carol and great for guys or gals! My hubby is such a music lover (especially the 50's, 60's and 70's) and you're making me think this might be a perfect set to have on hand for him! And the challenge colors worked so perfectly on this card too...LOVE it!! Hugs. :0)

Carol using the records for your card for the challenge was such a fabulous idea! I didn't get this set but I think it's a classic. Nothing like vinyl, even with it's scratchy imperfections!

Such a fun take on the colours Carol. I too remember vinyl and even today miss the ticks that were ground into my brain when I here them on the radio without them! I watched Cat Stevens at Glastonbury this year and despite his 74 years he took me right back to my bedroom, complete with scratchy 33s and orange and lime swirly wallpaper!!:)

This set is one of my more recent purchases, and I used it for my son's Father's Day card. I'm pinning your amazing card for design inspiration the next time I pull it out! The background you created is amazing!

Carol, I always look forward to your cards for our challenge, but I think this one has a hit a new high! It's so clever and unique, and reminds me of listening to lps way back when lol! Who knew vinyl would be so "in" again? I so love your fab design!

The greatest hits stamps and dies are perfect for this challenge and I love your take on the colors! The pocket is such a clever idea and the background you created is amazing! This is one of my favorites this time around!

I love what Stephanie said about always looking forward to your cards and that is spot on how I feel. You are not a predictable stamper and that is one of the things I love most about you! Awesome job my dear! I think you are platinum!
