And here we are: mid-July already! How did this happen? We continue to experience overly warm temperatures here in Alberta, paired with smoke from wildfires in both our province and BC. Hopefully, the weather will cool and the rains will come...
Welcome to Color Hues Challenge #17, where we're inviting you to use hues of Lime Green and Aqua as inspiration for the next two weeks. Pretty!
Surprise! I didn't use a Turnabout stamp this time! Nope! Rather, I gave three of my little collection of alcohol inks - Pool, Limeade and a smidge of Gold Alchemy - a play date, as the combination, for me, called for something 'sea/ocean.' And what better than a shiny, pretty alcohol-inked die cut mermaid and seaweed, paired with cardstock aqua waves and a starfish. Easy! I really need to use my inks more often!

I am so glad to see a mermaid in the challenge, and such a beautiful card! The alcohol inks are so pretty and I love the other elements. A fabulous design!
As soon as I saw the title of your post, I knew you'd hit the jackpot! These are fabulous colors for an ocean theme, and your alcohol inks are gorgeous. The seaweed and florals are perfect finishing touch!

As soon as I saw your card a light bulb went off in my head. I have a die-cut similar to yours in my arsenal that I totally forgot I had, it makes for a great sea background. Thanks for the kick in the head. LOL Love your mermaid too! Hope you have a great Sunday!
I love the flow-y look of alcohol inks and in those colors they look very seaworthy, Carol. Love that background die with the mermaid.
Great card, how lucky that you had just the right mix of inks, they work so well in your undersea themed card. Of course Aqua should send you scuttling for the marine themed dies and stamps! :)
