Uniko Brand Ambassador Inspiration: Inspired by Twofer Challenge Card #29~Butterflies...English Country Garden Note and Birthday

Hello,

Welcome to my Uniko Brand Ambassador post, where I'm defaulting to what I do in missing-mojo situations: drawing inspiration from other designers or, in this case, from challenges.  Today, my muse is none other than Twofer Card Challenge #29, where this month's theme is Butterflies!  A perfect opportunity to use the lovely English Country Garden stamps & dies to create two cards, with two different designs, for two different occasions.

Here they are....

My first card features an alcohol inked background, with some gold alloy added for extra shimmer, as a canvas for a gold-embossed three-layer vellum butterfly. The sentiment, also gold embossed, is from Simply Said.

I am completely (as in totally, full-on) smitten with slimline cards, so I *had* to make one! Here, I prisma pencil coloured three butterflies, die cut and positioned them inside the circles, then added a birthday sentiment from Simply Said.

Here they are again...the shimmer of the alloy and pearlized inks is soooo pretty!

Hopefully, I've inspired you to use your Uniko butterflies in different ways, for different challenges/occasions! They really are wonderfully versatile!

Thank you for dropping by!

These are pretty, pretty, pretty, c! I can imagine how gorgeous and schparkly that first design is between the gorgeous alcoholic background and the gold shimmer of the embossed butterfly! I want to wear it ... the whole card, not just the butterfly! And you are really rocking the slimline trend with your triple butterfly delight! I love the aperture die and your pencil coloring is superb!! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #29! Keep well! Hugs, Darnell

Wow! Looking at these, one would be hard pressed to declare you mojo less, so I think your tried and true worked wonderfully! These are two beautiful cards. I love the pretty and sparkly background of the first. It sure helps to show off your pretty butterfly. The second also does the same, but in such a fun and different way. Your coloring looks fantastic, too. Delightful duo, Carol. Thanks so much for sharing! Hugs! :)

Both of your cards are beautiful, Carol! The butterfly looks vastly different gold embossed on vellum than inked with black and colored. Both ways are gorgeous and I love the designs that really highlight them! Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!

Wowzers, girly!! You've really made a pair of butterfly-licious cards here. I am totally in love with your 'just a note' card. That background looks sincerely and gorgeously fabulous. *sigh* And the vellum/golden butterfly...I reiterate...*sigh*. I haven't done a slimline card in eons, but after seeing your sweet trio tucked in one, I just might have to go down that avenue again. LOVE those colors and that butterfly stamp. Great cards. Thanks for joining us at The Twofer Challenge!! Sending hugs. Bev

My favourite butterfly image, Carol ... and you showcased it so beautifully here! The gold on triple layered vellum is so pretty against the shimmery AI background ... and what fabulous colouring on your triple window'd slimline card! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)

These are over-the-top gorgeous! Love the alcohol ink background with the gold butterfly, and the die cut windows showcase the coloured ones beautifully!

They are both gorgeous! That alcohol ink background is stunning - love it with the golden butterfly. And the three butterflies peeking through the circles on the slimline are so sweet.
