I'm absolutely thrilled to be joining the incredibly talented 'super' Kylie, along with a group of wonderfully creative designers, for the debut of a new monthly challenge: Perfectly CAS!
What is Perfectly CAS? For this challenge, we're asking you to use one-third (aka: the rule of thirds) or less on your card designs, leaving plenty of scrumptious white space (two-thirds of your panel) to draw our eyes to to your focal image. Kylie has included an easy-to-follow explanation on the challenge blog here.
Flowers are the theme for our first challenge...
I created a little floral arrangement (hmmm...wasn't intentional, but it 'kind of' looks like the flowers in the image above...) using Petite Posies from The Stamp Market. Easy to ink (layered); easy to die-cut; easy to use in 'small space' designs. Plus, they're cute! As in really cute!
Turning the stage over to you!
Looking forward to seeing your Perfectly CAS flower-themed cards in the gallery!
Thank you for dropping by!
Intentional or not, those flowers are so pretty (just like our logo) LOL. Stunning use of the one third rule even with all that dimension. Love this! Thank you for being a designer on yet another of my challenge blogs xx
Gorgeous! Intentional or not the result is exactly the same...gorgeous!! :)
Love your card Carol - CAS perfection and the colors are stunning!
Beautiful Carol! So many challenges ...I'll add this in to my rotations!
Love those flowers, Carol.
So pretty, love those flowers! A great start to the new challenge. :)
Such a cute CAS card, flowers and all!
Sooooo happy for you and Angie! Teammates again!!!! Your card is so pretty!
So very pretty! I have to admit, even CAS me finds the ONLY one third concept a bit daunting!
As if you weren't busy enough, lol! Congratulations on the appointment to the new challenge Team, Carol! This is right up your alley and your inspiration card proves that! It's feminine and so very pretty!! I hope you are doing well! Hugs, Darnell
Intentional or not, this looks so pretty. Beautifully CAS xx
