STAMPlorations ARTplorations Stencil Hop - Part 1 - OCTOBER 8

Hello,

First, Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian visitors. Hope your day is filled with happiness, gratitude, joy...and a fabulous meal shared with the special people in your lives.

Today, I'm joining the STAMPlorations gals to celebrate the launch of the newest, exclusive, trendy Sanna Lippert Designs stencils.  Her designs have wide appeal: perfect for those of us who are, like me, 'simple stencil folk,' those who love to dabble with mixed media art forms and everyone who falls in between. Whatever your style, Sanna's stencils will fit to a 't'.  With that as an introduction:

Welcome to the

No automatic alt text available.

All of Sanna's stencils can be found here.
Sanna's incredible creativity with her stencils can be found here (sneak peeks) and here. Please visit; you'll be awe-mazed by her artistry.

Soooo, following my 'simple stencil' technique, I've created three cards that see Sanna's stencils as the 'star of the stage.

Card 1: We were enveloped with a heavy snowfall on the day this card was made; all I could see in the the design was snowflakes *grin*, so...I went with it! Triple sentiment and yes, the song that accompanies said phrase was definitely running through my thoughts. Bet you're humming it now, too!

Card 2: Watching the snow fall and fall and fall - blech! - I decided to go the 'polar' (sorry, had to...) opposite, to create a rainbow (warmer!) version. This phrase is one of my favourites - a card that will go to my sweet niece.

Card 3: Of course, a card for my niece also means a card for my nephew. I was aiming for 'super hero' colours in my ink choices with this very cool Convallaria stencil.  The sentiment: Yep! He is definitely fantastic!

(Hmmm...I see cool Halloween background potential here, too. May have to give that a whirl...)

Okay, time to invite you to 'hop along' to see what my lovely teammates have to share. Of course, leaving a comment puts you in the running for a chance to win one of 4 prizes.
For both hops (Yes...another on October 15th!), there will be:
  • one winner of a $20 gift certificate,
  • one winner of a $10 gift certificate and
  • 2 winners of their choice of three (3) Sanna Lippert Designs stencils.
Commenting closes October 21. Winners to be announced on November 10 in the October Winners post.

Extra Details: From October 8 to 21, all stencils are 15% off - no coupon needed. The discount is automatically applied in the shopping cart. You can get an extra 20% off if you use my discount code: STAMPGIRLCAROLM.

Thank you for dropping by!

Three absolutely beautiful Sanna Stenciled cards, Carol. I think the Lattice Stencil works beautifully for your Let it Snow card. I love your pastel colors for your rainbow design. Also your Fabulous nephew card design. Your die cut phrases on all your cards were wonderful too. TFS my friend. Hugs..Nancy

The Stencil Queen did it again. And yes, do use that last one for a Halloween card, Carol. I can't wait to see what you do with it.

Great cards! Your Niece and Nephew will love the cards! I love how the first two cards are basically the same..... But because of color choices, they look so different. Just goes to show the mileage you can get out of your supplies.
