Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #172~Designer's Choice; our wonderful Kylie has chosen 'use vellum'. EEK! Okay...vellum is lovely but, in my hands, EEK!
We're delighted to welcome Wei as our Guest Designer, all the way from Taiwan. Her use of vellum: brilliant! My wonderful teammates have used vellum in most fabulous, lovely ways as well; please visit them - and Wei - and leave them some love, which I know will be deeply appreciated:
Vellum is lovely, but in my hands: EEK! We are not 'close' friends; however, in snippets, we manage, so snippets I did. A LOT of snippets!. As you can see, I'm in full-throttle Halloween creating mode; these are a few of the mini cards (Taylored Expressions) I'm making for my niece's Grade 3 classmates. Eight completely done; another 6 'nearly done'; 12 more to go. Best get brewing with finishing these up! (Hard to see that the belts are shimmery with Glossy Accents; the boots, with Wink of Stella...these are stylin' witches *grin*)
How will you *use Vellum* in your cards/projects?
Looking forward to seeing you in the gallery!

Oooh it's a set! And really fun and brightly coloured. Looks fab.
These are amazing Carol, full of colour and fun and such a cool way to use vellum x
So cute... such a pretty set of cards
Oh, are these fun or what! Great for a bunch of young girls. WoS sparkle is hard to capture in a photo for me as well, but I know how it looks and can picture it in my mind how these cards look IRL. Great idea to use vellum for the sentiments.
Your niece and her classmates are so lucky to have you and your creative thoughtfulness in their lives. This is a fantastic, fun and festive card for the holiday. Wow!! Really like your snippet of vellum, too. Keep up the awesome work! Hugs!
These are super cute!! I love the variations of color here and yes, I'm the SAME with vellum in my hands ;)~ha!
I'll bet that Miss T.'s class looks forward to the cards she brings every single year. These are adorable!!! I definitely love those polka dotty skirts, and those fabby shoes! You did just fine with the vellum too. Btw...what adhesive are you using? We'll have to have a good long chat soon! xo Bev
I can just hear the squeals of the kids when they receive their cards, Carol. Well the girls anyway. ;) So much wonderful coloring and attention to detail.
Your snippets of vellum are perfect, Carol ... they allow us to enjoy these fun polka dot skirts and beautifully coloured witchy legs and boots ... what fabulous treats for Miss T's classmates! Hugs, Anita :)
haha! I love all those witch legs! Your colorful designs are so fun and your feature of vellum works perfectly as to not take away from the fun!
The kids will love these! So colorful, bright and happy looking! I'm the same with vellum... I never know how to attach it! :)
Such cute cards! love that stamp! Thanks for playing alone with us at Creative with Stamps - Pam DT
Oh so fun!!
You did perfectly fine with vellum, my friend. I love the design of your cards - so fun! The vellum sentiment still allows us to see all the fab colours and design underneath - that's what I love about it. xx
Isn't she fun??!!! And how perfect for 3rd graders! (Although I'm not sure I would have attempted that many of them!) Love the patterns and colors - and you even snuck in the vellum!
Super cute!!! Thank you for joining us at City Crafter, good luck!!! Amy DT
