Uniko Studio June 2018 Design Team Blog Hop & GIVEAWAY!

Hello,

Welcome to the Uniko Design June 2081 Design Team Blog Hop & GIVEAWAY! You know what that means: inspiration + prizes!

Bev has invited the team to use a product that needs some more 'stage time' - and this month, the Beautiful Blooms trio are the chosen ones:

Beautiful Blooms I Clear Stamp Set          Beautiful Blooms I Designer Dies

Beautiful Blooms I can be bought as a clear stamp set and designer die bundle HERE.

Bev's thinking / reasoning in designing the Beautiful Blooms series was to have some modern blooms that didn't necessarily reflect a particular flower, leaving them open to interpretation.  I think we can all agree: these blooms are filled with possibilities!

The original Beautiful Blooms has been in my stash since it was launched way-back-when and its seen plenty of use! Below are two of my favourite 'oldies'...

For this challenge, however, I decided to do something that I've never done with this set: straight up stamping of the blooms.  I was inspired by Bev's description of how this set came to be:

Beautiful Blooms I is a gorgeous floral set inspired by Russian vintage wallpaper. This fun, modern graphic floral can be used to create stunning focal points or all over backgrounds for your creative projects.

Soooo....thus inspired, I created 'my' version of a floral background and paired it with a sentiment from Originally Organic Additions.

The floral pattern makes me smile! I already have ideas for at least two more cards featuring these sets...stay tuned!

That's it from me...time for you to visit Bev and the rest of the team to see their *Beautiful Blooms*....

Bev
Carol You are here

Be sure to comment along the hop for your chance to win your choice from the 3 clear stamp sets being featured. You have until Midnight (GMT) Monday 18th June 2018 to comment.

Happy Hopping!

Beautiful card, Carol ! I don't know how Russian vintage wallpaper looks like but I remember when I was a child to see this kind of wallpaper in a lot of houses and even as furnishing (curtains, cushions...). I never think of this stamp set to make such a floral background but I definitely love yours with those soft colours. Very delicate and feminine card with a beautiful sentiment too ! Fabulous showcase. Have a fabulous and crafty week ! Hugs x

Your oldies are certainly goodies Carol but also loving your new 'vintage, Russian-style wallpaper inspired' all over background take with BB I. Simply stunning and oozing delicious colour combos on the whole trio. Super elegant and a wonderful showcase of this set. x

Great wallpaper Carol! And a great post too, hadn’t come across all that background info before, slapped wrist for not looking more carefully at the Uniko shop and blog.

Love your wallpaper card, makes me think of the wallpaper that was type of velvet on the blooms and sheen on the other bits but your card looks much nicer I think than my memory. I also love your older cards which haven't aged at all which goes to show how well the stamp has been designed. Beautiful

Carol, I came here to see one card and what a pleasure to discover three gorgeous cards with the same stamps set. I also don't know what is Russian vintage wallpaper, but I do like these stamps :) - Sweet Kobylkin

Your "oldies" are still goodies.
Love the colors. The different
ways they were situated is great.
The colors on the "new" version are
pretty. Stamping some of them
off the background is a good idea.

You've shown off that stamp's versatility, Carol. I love the wonky window behind the pink flower and the 'wallpaper' is terrific. Thanks for sharing your second card at The Flower Challenge. ;)
