Two Father's Day cards from me, both of which use Spellbinder's Let's Dance dies and Happy Dance sentiments. The name of the dies says it all: the dads' legs 'dance', as you can see on the second card! Super cute; super easy. I might be crushing over that big ol' mug of beer!

HLS Anything Goes with Dies June 2022 Challenge~Strawberry Pie in Box Thank You (Spellbinders)

Welcome to Happy Little Stampers June 2022 Anything Goes with Dies Challenge. Bring out your dies and have a play! 

I'm completely besotted with Spellbinders' Perfect Pie collection, which may be a bit weird for someone who's made a 'real' pie only once (and not successfully!). Pies remind me of my grandmother; her Saskatoon berry (hand-picked from trees on the farm), blueberry and rhubarb pies...so delicious! And when the local fair came around, her pies were winners...and sell outs! So, little wonder that I have a 'thing' for pies, even if they're made of paper!

Below, I've baked up a cherry pie, tucked it into a pie box and added a fork and knife so you can 'dive' right in to have a slice. And, I even found a sheet of cherry patterned paper in my stash! Fun, right!

Welcome to Happy Little Stampers June 2022 Stencil Challenge where Anything Goes. 

My card features Pigment Craft Co. products: the Latte Heart stencil and Dashing Sentiments. New goodies to play with, including Saltwater Taffy distress ink (the leaves just below the hearts); so pretty! I messed up with the stencils a couple times (operator error - aka ME), but once I had everything in the right order with the right ink, everything worked out wonderfully. The stencils are easy to use, that's a certainty!

HLS June 2022 Christmas Challenge~Anything Goes (optional: Snow Globe)...Merry Christmas (Colorado Craft Co. Layering Sweater Bears)

Welcome to Happy Little Stampers June 2022 Christmas Challenge, where Anything Goes. As always, we offer an option which, this month, is Snow Globe.

I've had Colorado Craft Co's Layering Sweater Bears for ages; time to give them a play. Their layered sweaters/scarves are easy to line up and don't these two polar bears look cute, snuggling! The face on the little one is adorable! Obviously, I made a shaker card and, around the frame, added some die cut snowflakes from Lawn Fawn. My 'snowglobe' with a twist.

Just Us Girls Challenge #635~Word Week - Paintbrush...There is Beauty in Simplicity (Spellbinders Tulip Paintbrush)

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #635, where our wonderful Lisa E has selected *Paintbrush* as this week's theme. Lisa's reason for selecting this prompt is lovely, so I'll just quote it here: "I think spring is the time of year when our world comes alive with beautiful colors. It's like God takes out His paintbrush and the earth is His canvas!"

Marking its debut is my Artful Etched Tulip Dies from Spellbinder's Paint Your World Collection. The entire collection is delightful, but I was especially smitten with this one. I paired it with a decorative ink-smooshed (I know...I actually did some smooshing!) oval from Pinkfresh and a TH sentiment that reads (because the photo didn't capture it well): "There is beauty in simplicity." So true!

Color Hues Challenge #42~Black and Yellow...YAY, You Did It (Concord & 9th Hooray Ribbon)

How did June arrive so quickly! Time's a flyin'! First of the month means a new Colour Hues Challenge.  Hannelie has chosen Black and Yellow as our inspiration for the next two weeks. 

Bonnie Klass joins us as our guest designer; delighted to have her on board. 

Concord & 9th products for my card: the stars turnabout and the Hooray Ribbon stamps/die collection. I really need to use this set more often as it has some wonderful sentiments and additional designs. The yellow paper is from Cricut; so shiny! 

How will Yellow and Black inspire you?
