Color Hues Challenge #105 - Green and White - You're Awesome to the Core (Honeybee Stamps)

Hello,

A warm welcome to Colour Hues Challenge #105 where, as hostess, I have selected hues of Green and White as inspiration for the next two weeks.  This simple combination gives you opportunity to play with the colours as they are or to pair them with our snippets of our wonderful array of neutrals - black, grey, kraft, brown, cream, gold, and silver. Themes and occasions are open - with a reminder that St. Patrick's Day will be here in a blink!

We're delighted to have Nance joining us as our Guest Designer for this challenge.

Honeybee Stamps' Awesome to the Core suite of stamps, stencils and dies recently joined my collection, so I created a few Granny Smith apples for my card, along with a pretty, antique white blossom and a scalloped oval base + frame. The apples are fun and yes, several more are awaiting their turn on the stage.

Please head over to the main blog for some fabulous inspiration from our guest designer and my teammates.
Then, bring out your Green & White and create a card (or two) of your own to share in the gallery.
Looking forward to seeing how this combination inspires you.

Thank you for dropping by!

AAA Birthday Challenge #71 - Masculine - Harry Potter Birthday Wishes (Missees Man)

Hello,

Welcome to AAA Birthday Challenge #71 where our theme for March is Masculine. Yes, creating cards for the men in our lives can be daunting but we're here with plenty of masculine-marvelous inspiration. We also know you have some fabulous guy-themed ideas to share with us as well - and I, for one, can't wait to see them!

Please join us in extending a warm welcome to our Guest Designer - Ella.

When the Missees collection by Karin Joan/Studio Light was released a few years ago, I fell hard and fast in love with the entire series. I made numerous cards with the pretty Missees and then, not too long after, she brought out the Missees Man version. And, once again, I dove right in, inviting the guys to join my gals.

Essentially, the stamps and dies offer ample opportunity to create 'paper dolls' of any and all characters you can imagine...and that's precisely what I've done here with my Missees Man version of Harry Potter. His signature glasses, tousled hairstyle and Gryffindor outfit were fun to make, as was pairing him with postage-themed patterned paper from Echo Park's Wizards collection. I think my 'guy' card would work well for any boy/teen who's an HP fan (or who may secretly want to be just like Harry).

Please head over to the main blog for fabulous masculine card inspiration from my teammates. Then, join us in the gallery with a guy-card of your own.
