Inkspirational Challenge #279 - Technique Challenge - Paper Piecing...Quilted Poinsettia JOY (Concord & 9th, Photoplay)

Hello,

Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #279, where our Technique Challenge is Paper Piecing. Fussy cutting, inlaying paper pieces with die cuts...as long as you have 'pieced' paper, you're good to go!

I know that, technically, "paper piecing" requires stamping/fussy cutting, but...I am completely and utterly pathetic with fussy cutting! Vision, poor coordination...just can't! So, I decided to go a slightly different route, by paper piecing my brand new Concord & 9th Quilted Poinsettia dies. Trust me...this was a bit of a challenge, getting things to line up correctly. Once I did (a few mess-ups along the way!), the results are pretty. Here, I've used P13 patterned paper bits. A great way to use of scraps...I mean, paper pieces. LOL!

Looking forward to seeing your paper piecing artistry in the gallery.

Thank you for dropping by!

Oh this is so lovely, Carol! I think it totally qualifies for the challenge. You had to work to get this pieced correctly, right? So very pretty! Thanks so much for sharing! Crafty hugs!
