Welcome to Happy Little Stampers July 2019 CAS Card Challenge, where our theme is NEGATIVE SPACE. Let's accentuate the positive with the negative!
Can you believe that, up until this challenge, I've not played with alcohol inks! True story! I brought out the three I have, dropped them on Yupo paper and watched the magic unfold. There's a possibility I may be hooked! I used a snippet of the background for the negative space of my Concord & 9th butterfly. Love the vibrant green, blue and purple! Still plenty more to use down the road!
That's it from me; please head over to the blog to see how my talented teammates interpreted this month's theme. A reminder that we're looking for CAS designs.
Thank you for dropping by!
Oh my Carol, this is GORGEOUS!!! I love everything about it!
This turned out beautifully, Carol! And you're way braver than I am! It seems that whenever I try using alcohol inks, whatever I attempt comes out looking like toilet paper, lol!! That's a gorgeous butterfly, and the colors behind him really makes him shine. What a pretty card! Missing you. xoxo Bev
This is gorgeous Carol .... great job with the alcohol inks, the colours look fab xx
What a beautiful card Carol! I love the alcohol ink background behind the butterfly! Such a great idea.
Beautiful card, love the colours and having them in the negative spaces is so effective, Cathy x
Delicious! What fabulous colours, just beautiful. I've yet to purchase any alcohol inks, dare I start?! x
I haven't had my alcohol inks out in a while and now I think I need to. The panel looks great behind that lovely butterfly die cut, Carol.
Hmm my comment disappeared. ;( I haven't used my alcohol inks in a while and I think I have to get them out soon. Your panel is lovely behind the wonderful butterfly die cut.
Absolutely, stunning and gorgeous! That is all! :)
A beautiful, striking contrast. I love the colors you used. Perfect CAS card
