High 5! You Did It Bookmarks and Birthday Card...CAS(E) this Sketch #813, CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #153~Gift Tags

Hello,

And I'm back...this time with a couple little somethings inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #183

Just a simple birthday card, with a 'bit' of interest (hopefully) created by nesting the images into their die-cut apertures.

My sweet niece and charming nephew are attending Bike Camp this week (apparently, they're taking after their uncle, my husband *grin*). so I though I'd make them a couple of "You Did It" bookmarks to note their accomplishments, following the sketch layout.  I'm hoping these will count as 'tags' over at CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #153~Gift Tags (using CAS-ual Friday's Woot Woot set and neon inks).

(Sometimes my girly Ms. T is all over pink, then suddenly all over blue.
Sometimes Mr. C is, too *grin* They can decide who gets which...

Of course, the challenge says 'gift' tags, so I thought these book marks would pair nicely with the bike book I ordered.  Looking forward to a cuddle-on-the-couch with them to read the story together...

That's it for me. The clouds are starting to pile up again, so we know what that means. More wet weather (enough!)...and consequently, more crafting.  My offer still stands: some of your heat for some of our cool - and a bit of rain as an added bonus. Any takers?

Thank you AGAIN for spending part of  your day with me; your visit brings me joy!

Hi Carol...Fabulous card...what a clever idea and so very effective in it's design, and I love your idea for your bookmarks/tags too. Lucky niece and nephew to have an Auntie like you. I think the book is really for you?? Sounds like your weather is about as good as ours here in the UK. Hugs xx

Oh Carol, you are just wonderful. I adore that first card you made. Brilliant idea to have the image behind the die cut space. It looks so cool! And your bookmarks for your niece and nephew are fabulous! Love the neon colors. Oh and that book! What a fabulous idea. You are one smart cookie, you know that don't you? It looks like a great read! Snuggles galore for that one! I'd take you up on your weather offer if I could, it was pretty dang hot here yesterday. :) Hugs!
