Floral Happy...Addicted to Stamps and More #155~Photo Inspiration

Hello!

July is passing all too quickly, especially with all the 'hither and yon' travels my husband and I have been on. We're on one of our treks right now...and since we're ready to head off to yet another destination, I'll be brief...

Today, my design team and I invite you to join us at Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #155,

A while back, I flirted with the idea of investing in Copics - oodles of them. And then I looked at the price...ummm, yep, nope. So, I picked up my Chameleon pens and told them, quite clearly, that we were going to learn to work and play together.  It will take a while, but I plan to figure these markers out; hopefully, you'll bear with me as I do.  Today's card is one of my experiments...

The lovely florals in the image gave rise to my decision to create a little floral arrangement of my own with my new, lovely Deepti's Blooming Buds (Dee's Artsy Impressions, available at STAMPlorations).  Here they are - Chameleon pen coloured - with a Happy sentiment (mainly because I *am* happy with the results).

Please be sure to visit me team-mates' creations; dazzle and delight guaranteed! And as added incentive to join us, here's the prize that awaits *you*..

See you in the gallery!

Thanks so much for dropping by; your visit and comments add sparkle to my day!

Hugs,

You have coloured the flowers beautifully. Very pretty card.
I have also struggled with the Chameleon Pens but am lucky enough to own a few Copics as well. So I keep the Chameleons for smaller images and use the Copics on large.

You done great things with the Chameleon pens, dear Carol! (I am still having a love-hate relationship with mine!). This card is FANTABULOGORGEOUS! (You got me going on portmanteaus!)

You do not need any more pens! This is gorgeous and beautifully colored. Hope your travels are going well. I am pinning this fantastic idea because I have Deepti's stamp set as well, and I am always looking for inspiration for it. Happy trails.

This is lovely, Carole! I don't have Copics either and my reaction has been the same as yours. I love the image and your coloring of it is superior. Now I'm off to look up the pens that you used.

You've coloured the flowers beautifully! So far I've resisted Chameleon pens as I do have Copics, oh and Promarkers too!

Gorgeous, Carol! You've definitely gotten the hang of these pens. It looks to me like they have blended beautifully! I hear you on the cost of Copics, that's why I stick to pencils. Have you tried those? :) Safe travels...hope you are having a blast!

So pretty! I'm thinking that you and the pens have become great pals cuz these flowers are gorgeous! Your shading is flawless! It seems that they blend from dark to light far better than Copics. Sounds like you two are on the go a fair bit! Hope you are having fun :)

Well done with using the Chameleon pens to colour those fab blooms.
I was thinking of getting some but after a friend brought them to class and I had a play I think I'm sticking to my Copics. It will be cheaper to get refills after my initial investment in Copics! :)

I've been wondering how you were going with the chameleon pens. They keep piquing my interest (along with the Zig Clean Colour markers) but I keep resisting. Your colouring is so gorgeous. I think they were listening when you told them to behave. lol Beautiful card, my friend!

Well I would say that you have taken command of those pens and you have showed them who is boss!! Your Flowers are remarkably colored - shaded and just tummy texture and dimension in each one!! You are a star my friend and I am constantly in awe of your greatness and your willingness to try new things until they become comfortable to you!!! I so think you ROCK!!! This card is stunningly beautiful!! Please keep safe in your travels and stay happy!!

I've never come across Chameleon pens but clearly you two are a match made in heaven. Your colouring of Dee's beautiful flowers is amazing, this truly is a beautiful card. Love the piercing and soft grey base too. I've never tried Copics and don't want to as I know I'll fall in love and won't be able to afford them *sobs* x

Love those flowers & your coloring is gorgeous! Maybe I should try those pens since my Copics are pretty much just for coloring pearls & gems--LOL!

Chameleon pens looks fascinating to me but didn't know if I could figure them out so I opted for the Zigs. I think your coloring on these flowers is wonderful, Carol, so keep practicing.
