Pink and Green Wreath Tag...Tag you're It #11, Festive Friday #45

Hello once again,

A quick post to share one of the 24 (yes...2-4) tags I made for my niece and nephew's Advent countdown projects.  In the flurry of getting the whole kit-and-caboodle done for my husband to transport today, I didn't have a chance to take 'finished' photos,  Everything is now with my mom; my sister-in-law will pick up the Advent projects tomorrow when she drops off Mr. C for some 'Bacia and Poppa" time, while Ms. T attends  her ballet lessons. Sooooo...although this tag looks naked, it really isn't; in 'real life' it's adorning, with gold cord, a small envelope, that contains a note for an activity as well as some stickers. Frozen stickers for Ms. T; Avenger stickers for Mr. C...or vice versa, depending on the mood *grin*  That's what my project entailed: 24 tags, attached to 24 small envelopes made, using a combination of patterned and cardstock paper, each with an activity and stickers. I figure the tags could go on their tree, or wherever. In any event: hope they like them!  I'll ask my sister-in-law to take a photo of the whole shebang.  Tag 25...well, that's still in the works!!

Anyway, this post's tag is off to Tag You're It Challenge #11 (which I totally love! Please, team, keep  it going!  I ordered a bunch of tags on Black Friday!!), where the fabulously talented Maureen's tag was our inspiration:

and my colour choices were sparked by the lovely, I-want-all-of-this photo at Festive Friday #45

Here's my little offering....

Thanks so much for dropping by; your visit and comments add sparkle to my day!

PS: I'm behind in commenting; aiming to catch up soon!! Hugs to all!

You are just the best auntie in the whole world! The little ones will be so delighted to see what's coming "tomorrow." Love the pink and green in this tag. So non-traditional, yet so Christmassy! Well done, Auntie C., well done! You'll have to let us know how many tons and tons the kiddos loved these! Bev

Your tag is just darling Carol! I love that wreath and have seen it around blogland and keep falling in love with it. lol I think Ms. T and Mr. C will love opening the little envelopes with these cute tags each night. That is always an exciting thing to do to count down the days to Christmas. Now can you tell me why as a kid Christmas takes forever to get here, but as an adult it whizzes by in the blink of an eye?!! I so got to get this butt in gear! Hugs, Brenda

Oh yeah....without a doubt....Winner's Circle! The vibrant shades of the pink and green are stunning! Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!

You are one special lady Aunty C. My goodness, the memories that you are creating for the two wee ones are endless! And the best part of it all is that when they are grown, they will likely do the same for special little people in their lives!

Did you hear me squeal? Yep, that wasn't some strange bird outside your window, that was me, C. What an ADORABLE tag! of course, it helps that I'm head over heels in love with the stamp and die set by Clearly Besotted. But apart from that, I love your fresh color combo … I would have never considered pink and green for christmas (or at all), but you just show that color theory isn't everything and this is a beautiful combo. Love love love … well, and love it!
