Celebrate...Reminder for Uniko Challenge #43~Autumn/Fall (optional twist: Halloween)

Hello!

Popping in today with a reminder about Uniko Studio Challenge #43~Autumn/Fall (optional twist: Halloween).

I've brought out my favourite flower image to showcase today - Originally Organic stamps and dies  - and paired it with my go-to sentiment set - All Occasions Sentiments #6.

The first card sees these lovely blooms in an autumn palette...

while the second is in Halloween colours - purple, orange and green. Wouldn't this be fun for someone with an October 31st birthday?

Joining us for this challenge is our  talented Guest Designer: Vijaylaxmi.  She, and the rest of my amazing team, have created another set of lovely cards to inspire and delight. You can visit them here.

Wrapping up with a warm invitation for you to join us in the gallery
with your Fall/Autumn and/or Halloween creations.
You have plenty of time to play along!

The entry guidelines are simple and there are PRIZES, too! Do check details at Uniko Studio.

As these are my favs, I'm sharing them at the birthday celebration being held at The Flower Challenge #13~Use Your Favourite Flower. Congratulations on such a successful Year 1 - and here's to many many many more years of challenges to come!  (Studio Katia, please, if honoured with a win)

Trick or Treat and Happy Halloween...FUSION Card Challenge~Striped Wreath

Hello!

It's definitely Fall here...and Winter has started whispering, too. We won't mention the 's' word just yet; rather, let's turn our thoughts to fun things that Autumn brings...like Halloween!

Welcome to FUSION Card Challenge~Striped Wreath, where we have an image with alllll sorts of entry points to inspire the multitude of cards/projects you're sure to bring to the gallery! Colours, stripes, wreaths, Halloween, the textured wall background - and, of course, that wonderful sketch is an option, too!
My first card's photo has me in the Land of Grrrr! After 700 photos, I decided this was the best I could manage; that green background, in real life, is rather pretty (in a Halloween kind-of-way), as are my glitter-paper bat and cat, but what a challenge to photograph! Anyway, this is my translation of the sketch; wish it looked more spook-tacular here. It's kind of fun; a card that will likely go to one of my niece or nephew's teachers.

My second is photo-inspired (obviously *grin*) The skull isn't 'that' scary, given that the flame in his candle-eye is heart shaped. The multi-colour sentiment adds a simple pop of colour.

Please head over to the FUSION blog see the marvelous cards designed by my wonderful design team:

Looking forward to seeing your designs in the gallery!

Halloween Tags (Batch 1)...Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #263~Holiday

Hello!

Welcome to Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #263~Holiday!

Time to get those Christmas cards done...or not, as you'll see in my case *grin!

Yes, I know that Halloween is not, technically, a holiday, however, I have decided it is, so I hope you'll bear with me!  Today, I'm sharing the oodles of tags (inspired by Kim, from Joyful Creations with Kim) I created for my nephew's kindergarten class.  As compared to Kim's, mine are far more simplistic; I did try embossing the sentiments on a few, but the paper-warping and time-consuming nature of doing so became a bit much. Even so, they still took a while to make...but what a FUN while it was!

Here's a sample of five of the 25+,

followed by the gang...

and close-ups of a couple who were waving their ghostly little hands wildly, clamouring for attention...

Aren't those sentiments fun!  All products are from Taylored Expressions, except for the die used to cut the shapes.  Hope Mr. C's pals like them!  Oh...the little ghosts have been liberally sprinkled with glow-in-the-dark glitter (hard to see in the photo). They do glow...sort of *grin*

Now, to get after the second batch of Halloween 'somethings' for his class and then, turning my attention to my niece's Grade 2 class...

Please be sure to visit my teammates to see their amazing *real* Holiday-themed designs. You'll be delighted!

Looking forward to seeing you in the gallery!

Balloons and Clouds; Heart Wreath and Stripes...Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes With Dies October Challenge

Hello!

To my Canadian friends: HAPPY THANKSGIVING!  Hope your weekend is filled with delicious food and the companionship of family and friends!

Welcome to October's Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies Challenge!

Two cards featuring dies today. The first: a duo of Concord and 9th Happy Balloons, floating through a stenciled fluffy clouds blue sky background.  I've left the card opened ended with the addition of the 'happy' die cut...happy birthday, happy engagement, happy...everything!  These balloon are seriously too much fun with their doodly patterns...

Second, is my card inspired by Sovushka Slavia Challenge #13,

where we're invited to case the lovely card designed by incredibly talented, Erum Tasneem. My take is nowhere near as breath-taken-away beautiful as hers, but I so enjoyed playing with my Neat and Tangled heart wreath, as is.

NOTE:  Honoured and thrilled to be selected as one of the Top Three for Sovushka Slavia Challenge #13!  THANK YOU so much!

That's a wrap from me.

Please visit my teammates for some truly amazing die cut inspiration, then play along with us! Our winner for this challenge will receive a $20 coupon to spend at the shop! Check out all the details HERE.
See you in the gallery!
