Just Us Girls Challenge #793 - MOOD BOARD - Autumn Greetings with SSD Autumn Splendour

Hello,

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #793 where our hostess, Bobby, has selected this lovely Autumn-inspired mood board as inspiration this week. Talk about wonderful fall vibes.

Jaydee joins us once again as our September Guest Designer.

I reached for the lovely Autumn Splendour collection from Simply Stated Designs for my card. Spellbinders' Hexi-Gem dies for the focal panel and a Honeybee Stamps sentiment made for an easy-to-create card.

Please head over to the main blog to see the lovely cards created by Jaydee and my teammates.
Looking forward to seeing how the mood board inspires you.

If you have trees in your stash, share them with us!

My card features a lovely Christmas tree from Spellbinders' Joyful Wishes Rub-on Sheets, showcased with arch dies and set atop a pine branches embossed background. I'm smitten with these rub-ons; they're beautiful!

Just Us Girls Challenge #792 - WORD Week - Container - Cheers to Spooky Sips (Craft-O-Ween, Day 8)

Hello,

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge  #792 - Word Week where our hostess, Carol, has selected "Container" as the focal point on our cards.

A few of her suggestions: bucket, jar, basket, box, mug/cup/glass, bottle, bowl, pitcher/vase...and so on. Your container can be empty or filled with something; as long as your card/project depicts an image capable of holding something you're good to go.

Once again, we're delighted to have Jaydee joining us as our September Guest Designer.

I'm having a blast with my Spellbinder's Craft-O-Ween box. For this challenge, Day 8's skeleton mug takes the stage as a container for a frothy, marshmallow-topped brew, a 'sip' cookie, striped straw, bat stir stick and sweet little ghost.

Please head over to the main blog to see how our guest and my teammates interpreted Carol's theme.
Then, bring out a container of your own and join us in the gallery.

Thank you for dropping by!

We're delighted to have Lisa K. joining us as our Guest Designer for this challenge.

If you offer me orange and green in September, it's 99.9% likely I'll be creating a Halloween card - which is precisely what I did here. Please say 'hello' to the cutie patootie spider from Spellbinder's Craft-O-Ween Advent collection. His 6 eyes and top hat...ohmyword! He's delightful!

AAA Birthday Challenge #77 - Snarky - Crap, I Forgot Your Birthday Cat (Simply Stated)

Hello,

Welcome to AAA Birthday Challenge #77 where we're inviting you to spice up your birthday cards by being SNARKY! Yep - perhaps some 'choice' language, a bit of teasing,  a snippet of sarcasm - anything to generate a hearty guffaw is perfect for playing along with us.

My card captures the cat-astrophe of realizing you’ve missed someone’s birthday. I selected the wide-eyed, expression-of-shock cat, from Simply Stated Design, to be the star of the show and paired it with some cheeky speech bubbles. A little bit of sass; a little bit of snark.

Please head over to the main blog to see the fabulous SNARKY cards created by my wonderful teammates. Then, join us in the gallery with a snark or two of your own.

The challenge is open until Sept. 30th; plenty of time to play along.

AAA Cards Challenge #298 - Follow My Lead - Autumn Greetings (C & 9th)

Hello,

Welcome to AAA Cards Challenge #298, where our challenge for the next two weeks is to Follow My Lead. This time, we're 'casing' a lovely fall-themed card created by Ceal, seen below.

We're delighted to have Jane joining us as our Guest Designer.

I drew inspiration from Ceal's colours, autumn images and general design. A selection of dies from Concord and 9th, paired with papers from MCT and a sentiment from Honeybee Stamps, worked a charm.

Looking forward to seeing how you "Follow Ceal's Lead."

Thank you for dropping by!

Inkspirational Challenge #349 - Designer's Choice - Add A Tag - Have a Fang-tastic Night (Craftoween, Day 1)

Hello,

Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #349 where I've selected ADD A TAG as my Designer's Choice.

Your tag (or tags, if you'd like to use more than one) can be any size, any shape and any theme; just be sure it's clearly visible on the front of your card/project.

I have been having a blast with Spellbinder's Craft-O-Ween box of delightful Halloween dies and stamps. Featured on my tag - made from one of the Spellbinders Arch collection -  is the vampire from Day 1 of the box. Isn't he a cutie!  The sentiment is also part of the kit and the embossing folder...who knows. It's been residing in my collection for years.

Please head over to the main blog to see fabulous inspiration from the rest of my talented team then, TAG! You're IT!
Looking forward to seeing what style of tags you'll be bringing to the gallery!

Thank you for dropping by!

Hello,

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #789 where Lisa has selected a back-to-school themed mood board photo as inspiration this week. Shapes, colors, numbers, letters, the 'school' vibe...whatever sparks your creativity, go for it. You'll see that the team has gone in a variety of drections.

Once again, we're delighted to have Julie Beech joining us as our Guest Designer.

With the books as inspiration, I made a card and book mark duo with the Notting Hill collection from Photoplay.

It's a big bookmark...guaranteed you won't lose your place in the pages! LOL!

Please head over to the main blog to see what Julie and the rest of the team have created; then join us in the gallery with our take on the mood board.

Outta This World Aliens Birthday Card - Seize the Birthday Challenge #311 - No Flowers and Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers #265 - A is for Aliens (SSD)

Hello,

I've recently become a fan of Simply Stated Designs, an independent designer, based in my home city of Edmonton, Alberta Canada, who creates and prints an amazing array of collections that include patterned papers + ephemera + a whole host of other things. Wandering her shop and using her products makes me happy! Big happy!

One of the Simply Stated Designs design team members - Nadine Karen Designs - curated a kit using elements from the Outta this World collection. I bought the kit, I followed the instructions and, in pretty short order, I had four fabulous alien/space themed cards. I share the first one - which is also my first ever easel card -  here. Below is my second  easel version, which fits the themes for the following two challenges:

Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers #265 - A is for Aliens

Hopefully, patterned papers and ephemera are 'allowed'.

Kinda creepy...kinda cute those aliens - even the one peeking over the edge of the card.
Hopefully they make you smile rather than cringe! LOL!

Thank you for dropping by!
