Inkspirational Challenge #232~Designer's Choice: Hearts...I Chews You Sharks

Hello,

Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #232, where my wonderful friend Lindsey has selected *Hearts* as her Designer's Choice. I think we're going to see a very full gallery with this theme!

My Avery Elle Shark Hugs are finally making their debut, along with the Heart dies trio. I had no idea these guys would be soooooo cute! I'll be making more for sure...one for my dentist (seems 'appropriate'), my niece, my nephew, Lily's daycare gal...and that's just a start. He's easy to colour and that toothy grin just makes me smile!)

Please check out my teammates' heart-themed creations, then play along with us!

Thank you for dropping by!

Just Us Girls Challenge #570~Word Week: Valentine...Bear Bee Be Mine

Hello,

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #570, where our lovely Vicki has selected Valentine as this week's word prompt. Bring on the hearts, the roses, the chocolate and, especially, the LOVE!!

We're delighted to welcome Leslie Turner as our guest designer this month and oh my! Her card is gorgeous. My teammates' takes on Valentine run from quirky and whimsical, to sophisticated and elegant - and we even have a piece that is anything 'but' a card. Please head over to the main blog to see the amazing inspiration.

Stamping Bella had a fantastic sale just after Christmas and...well, I dived in and welcomed a handful of mini stamps/dies combination into my stash. I selected images that weren't *too* complex to colour and the best part: copic colour maps are available with your purchase! Those totally take the guess-work out of figuring out colour combinations, which makes the experience all the more fun. I made three bears total, with slight changes in the colour of the hearts. Backgrounds: Concord & 9th's Mini Hugs & Kisses Turnabout. One card uses all four turns; two for the other two.

I really tried to do just to the cute bear with my colouring;
still loads of practice required!

That's it from me; looking forward to seeing your Valentines filling up the gallery!

Thank you for dropping by!

YNS Challenge #156~Winter Wonderland...Snowflake Kisses Snowpeople

Hello,

Dropping in quickly to share my card for Your Next Stamp Challenge #156~Winter Wonderland.  At the moment, the snow is falling heavily here...winter is happening and, based on the forecast for the next several days, plans on staying.

The two snowpeople from Snowflake Kisses are adorable, so they're the stars-of the snowy stage I created for them on my mini slimline card panel.  They're surrounded by a background of BIG snowflakes (okay...snowballs *grin*) and paired with a sentiment from Flurry of Happiness.

Seriously...these two just melt me every time I use them!

HLS February 2021 Christmas Challenge~Anything Goes (optional twist: Berries)

Hello,

Welcome to Happy Little Stampers February 2021 Christmas Challenge, where Anything Goes is always the theme with an optional twist which, this month, is Berries. Actually, I'm dreaming of fresh strawberries, raspberries, blueberries...not exactly Christmas-y *grin*

Berries + February sent me dreaming of fresh strawberries, raspberries, blueberries...not exactly Christmas-y *grin* So...no optional twist for me.

Instead, we're going on a Train Ride, courtesy of Pinkfresh Studio. This is such a fun stamp/die combination (especially if you don't mind fiddling with lining things up...which I didn't in this case) and fits wonderfully on a slimline panel.  Is it just me or is this train simply adorable? It's the wheels; they make me smile, as do the critters, out and about for a jaunt on the Christmas Express!

That's it from me; please head over to the blog to see my talented teammates' festive delights.
Looking forward to seeing your Christmas makes in the gallery!

Seize the Birthday Surprise Party Guest~Hearts...Gumball Shaker

Hello,

I'm thrilled to be joining the Seize the Birthday team as the Surprise Party Guest for February and March.  Such a wonderful opportunity to play cards with super talented designers and, at the same time, add to my birthday card stash.

All Seize the Birthday Challenges are "Anything Goes", with an optional topping for those who want to be more venturesome with their cards. For the next two weeks, the topping is Hearts; perfect for any month but especially for February, the month of LOVE!

Concord & 9th's I Chews You bundle has been sitting in my craft room for nearly (or just over...yikes!) a year, so when I found out about the hearts theme, it took me all of a nanosecond to bring it out for a play.  Please welcome the debut of my gumball machine, a la shaker, filled with an assortment of sparkly, foiled and cardstock hearts. I backed the panel onto a piece of heart-patterned cardstock to ensure there were LOTS of hearts on this little number!  Just a note: these images are super simple to stamp and die-cut, plus they're exponentially cute. Once again, high scores for C & 9th's ingenuity!

Thank you, Nancy and the rest of the team, for welcoming me to 'your place' for the next couple of months.  To my visitors: thank you for dropping by. I hope you'll join us in the gallery, with or without the topping.

Thank you for dropping by!

HLS February 2021 CAS Challenge~Love is in the Air...Heart Hot Air Balloon

Hello!,

Welcome to Happy Little Stampers February 2021 CAS Challenge where we're inviting you to celebrate February with a month-long *Love is in the Air* theme!

Yep, I went with a literal interpretation of the phrase, bringing out a new, adorable heart-shaped hot air balloon stamp and die.  Even though the set comes with sentiments, I opted not to use them to keep my panel CAS; I reckon (and hope) the image makes the message clear. A few stenciled clouds in the background completes the scene.

That's it from me; please head over to the blog to see how my talented teammates -
Kylie, Lindsey, Anita, Charlotte (Lady Joyful), Ma-Mi,Bozena, Lynda (loopyloo), Julie and Ceal - interpreted this month's theme. A reminder that we're looking for CAS designs.

See you in the gallery!

Thank you for dropping by!

Uniko 9th Birthday Linky Party...Small Sentiment Patterned Birthday Background Cards

Hello,

Welcome to the first day of the month-long Uniko Birthday Celebrations; this year, Uniko is turning NINE! Nine years of amazing inspiration and outstanding products! Definitely worth celebrating!

Today, we're starting off with the Linky Party and you're invited. Simply create a birthday card, any theme, any style and using any product you like and link it up via the link on the main blog.

Two cards from me today, that are filled to the brim with a plethora of birthday-themed sentiments from several birthday sets. I had fun sorting through my collection to find stamps that were similar-ish in font and varied in size.

Because some form of dimension is a must-have with my cards (one-layers are a no-go for me), I die cut and stacked stars for the first one

and 12-point stars for the second.  A heart in the center of each and...voila! Two cards to celebrate Uniko's 9th!

Turning the stage over to you and, as always, Bev is offering prizes. NINE, to be exact!

  • Main Winner Chosen By the DT - £25 eGift Certificate
  • Random Uniko Stamps Winner - In Stock Clear Stamp Set of Winners Choosing (any value)
  • Top 5 Chosen By DT - In Stock £5 Clear Stamp Set of Winners Choosing
  • Two Randomly Selected comments from the Design Team Hop In Stock £5 Clear Stamp Set of Winners Choosing
Winners will be announced Sunday 7th March 2021 along with all the other 9th Birthday Celebration Winners ;)

Looking forward to seeing your birthday-themed cards in the gallery!
