Hearts and Arrow...The Male Room Challenge #02/15 - Shades of Blue

Hello,

I've made several cards over the past few days, but my organization in taking photos and getting them posted is abysmal! Net result: I'll be inundating you with a series of posts, or maybe inundating a post with a series of cards!  Whatever unfolds, a huge THANK YOU should you pop by for a visit (or several) to catch up on what I've been doing. One of these days I'll get my act together-ish!

Today, I'm racing into The Male Room~Shades of Blue challenge with  my extremely simple, yet *you-won't-believe-how-long-this-actually-took-me-to-make* card for my brother.  It's a 'just because' card...because I know he, like the rest of us, is missing my dad. Lots. I want him to know I love him. Lots.

Thanks so much for dropping by; your visit and comments add sparkle to my day!
Hugs...

NOTE: Honoured and thrilled to be selected as a Shades of Blue winner at The Male Room Challenge. THANK YOU!!

What a lucky guy your brother is to have you for a sister!!! This is a simply FABULOUS card with such a great male twist on a love you theme!! Marvelous thinking and way to go with the sisterly love!! I hope you are doing all right!! I know it is hard when you miss your dad! I find myself weeping into my pillow at night when I can't sleep cuz I am overwhelmed with memories of my dear old dad!! I hope as you have memories wash over you that you will feel blessed to know he loves you still just from another place!! Have a beautiful and amazing day!!!

I think it's so wonderful that you and your brother are close. I'm like that with my two also. Your card is really pretty/handsome? heheh! I love using blue for the heart rather than red! A nice change! I'm the same way about making way more cards than I actually post. I'd say more of mine go unposted than posted! (hugs my friend)

When you find the secret of getting it together, please let me know Carol, because I don't have it together anymore either. lol I wish I did, but I don't and I don't know how I got this way either! Your such a sweet sister making this card for your brother. I can only image how hard it is for you all with missing your dad. This card should help your brother know just how much you love him. It is a gorgeous card and I love how you used the blue to make it more masculine. I love it my friend. Hugs, Brenda

Your brother will love this card, you can see all the time and effort that went into making this. I love that beautiful blue you used that that heart...stunning. Now a question for you, I keep seeing that very same heart all over blog land, who makes it? Need to add it to my wish list.
