We have a new challenge making its debut at Just Us Girls Challenge #677: CASE a member of the Design Team. This challenge replaces the months-with-five-Saturdays Wild Card week. Essentially, we're inviting you to select one of the design teams card and create *your* version of it. Colours, theme, images, design: the choices are yours. I've selected *coffee mugs* as my theme, using my new Taylored Expressions Perk Up kit. It took quite  a while for this collection to arrive at my place (so happy to have a Canadian retailer able to order this for me), so you'll be seeing it receiving plenty of use. The stamped + stenciled cups are way too much fun to ink!

What sparks ideas for YOU should you decide to CASE my card? Theme, mugs, colours, 'grid' design, patterns (the little cate face is adorable)...lots of choice.

Yep...another Concord and 9th Turnabout; a stencil this time. The Retro Turnabout stencil is lovely, especially when paired with the wee tulip. The band/label are from MCT; hello from Pigment Craft Co.

Just Us Girls Challenge #675 - MOODBOARD....Garden Hello (Spellbinders)

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #675, where our lovely Nancy has created this fabulous Spring-themed Mood Board as our inspiration this week. Isn't it fabulous...pink boots, pink flowers, pink garden tools (YES!), a plant in a macrame hanger, a framed verse, an inviting green space...so many possibilities.

Once again, we're delighted to have Joanne James joining us as our April guest designer.

The pink gardening tools caught my eye, offering a wonderful opportunity to use some of the items in my Spellbinders Shopping Cart collection. Sentiment is from Honeybee Stamps; the oval framing from MCT. Now I want pink gardening tools or, at the very least, a pink sun hat!

Looking forward to seeing what features of the Moodboard 'springs' your creativity.

Happy Easter - Bunnies and Eggs Baskets (Poshta Design)

Hello! 

I've been doing a LOT of stitching the past 2 - 3 weeks, with the amazing dies from @poshtadesign to make five sets of bunnies and eggs for my mom (eggs with M for mom and B for Bacia, which is 'grandma' in Polish), her companion/care-giver (the D eggs), my niece (Miss T), my nephew (Mr. C) and my sister (the A eggs). If you swipe, you'll see the bunnies and eggs, along with chocolates, in their 'baskets', followed by a photo of everything. One 'oops' on the small egg for my niece, but she won't mind; she's a sweetie!

Inkspirational Challenge #287 - Clean and Simple (CAS)...Little Note Because I Think You're Awesome (YNS)

Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #287, where our challenge for the next to weeks is CAS - Clean and Simple - with an optional twist of Sunshine and/or Rain. Certainly a fitting choice for April - especially where many of us live (although snow is also likely to happen where I'm from - Alberta, Canada). 

As CAS is new to the Inkspirational challenge rotation, we're sharing guidelines of what this style means to us (which is similar to most CAS challenges): 

✅ One main focal point

✅ Lots of OPEN space (doesn't 'have' to be white)

✅ Minimal Layers

✅ Minimal Embellishments

Not hard at all, right? Right!

My cute Little Notes set from Your Next Stamp hasn't had a play in ages, so out it came for my card. The stamps/dies create lined paper, clipboards and, of course, the adorable sun and umbrella. 

Looking forward to seeing LOTS of CAS cards in the gallery.

Color Hues Challenge #61 - Peach and Kraft...Oh, Hey (Concord and 9th)

Happy April 1st - and a warm welcome to Color Hues Challenge #61, where our sweet Stef invites us to use hues of Peach and Kraft as inspiration for the next two weeks.  A pretty combination, indeed. 

I'm smitten with the Oh, Hey stencil from Concord & 9th which was included in the the Crop and Create October 2022 box of goodies participants received. It looks great in any colours. Simple design (from Cathy Z, who instructed the class) that makes me smile; hope it brings about the same response to the person receiving it.
