Happy Little Stampers April 2020 Anything Goes with Dies Challenge...*HAPPY* Reveal Wheel Cards

Hope you're doing well, physically and emotionally! How are you contending with staying home? Me: some reading, some cross-stitch, some Lily walks (later in the day where we're less inclined to encounter people) and plenty of crafting! I haven't yet dabbled with new baking experiments yet - namely cinnamon buns - but...the urge becomes stronger daily! I may have to give in....

Welcome to Happy Little Stampers April 2020 Anything Goes with Dies Challenge.

Bringing you a bit of *Happy* and some sunshine today with a couple of Lawn Fawn reveal wheel cards.  The new Reveal Wheel Circle Sentiments stamps/dies are delightful; the Hello Sunshine Remix papers, cheerful. Adding another pad or three to my down-the-road shopping list!

Isn't that face just the cutest!

Please visit my teammates; their creations are wonderful and, if you have a moment, leave them some love. I know they'll be thrilled!

Looking forward to seeing your Anything Goes with Dies cards/projects in the gallery!

Thank you for dropping by!

Happy Little Stampers April 2020 Christmas Challenge~Anything Goes (optional twist: Festive Animals)...Merry Christmas Deer

Welcome to Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge; Anything Goes is always the theme with an optional twist which, this month, is Festive Animals.

Staying home pretty much all the time (I go on our Lily walks, but no shopping. That's my husband's realm) means opportunity to re-visit some of the 'oldies' in my stamps/dies collection. I've made all kinds of discoveries, including this Concord & 9th Furry Friends set. The bonus: the deer and antlers were already stamped from a way-back-when ink-fest! Yayyy!  All that was left to do: add the lights, the wreath, the 'poinsettia' and the sentiment. Done!  Wonder what other bits-and-bobs I'll find as the days go on...

That's it from me; please head over to the blog to see my talented teammates' festive delights.

Looking forward to visiting your Christmas cards in the gallery!

Inkspirational Challenge #210~Spring/Easter...Bunnies!

Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #210, where we're celebrating Spring/Easter as our word prompt.  Spring has 'not' yet appeared here; just sayin'...

I decided to create an Easter/Spring scene with MFT's adorable Easter bunnies set.  I started with two bunnies...
then this happened...

and this...and several more, which I'm saving for a down-the-road share! They are beyond sweet and, for a novice with copics like me, truly easy to colour.  Have I mentioned how CUTE they are!  ACK!

The sun and background clouds/rays stencils are also from MFT.  So much fun!

My wonderful teammates have interpreted the prompt in most delightful fashions. Please visit and leave them some love, which I know will be deeply appreciated:

Looking forward to seeing you in the gallery!

Just Us Girls Challenge #530~Word Week...Wishing You A Lovely Day

I'm sure we're all continuing to find ways to adjust to the 'new' normal; hopefully, whatever you're doing is bringing you joy.

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #530, where lovely Ina has selected 'Feathers' as this week's theme.

New month; new guest designer! We're thrilled to have talented, super creative Cornelia Wenokor as joining us for April; please wander to her blog for a visit and, afterwards, drop by at my wonderful JUGS team's places: Sue, Angie, Vicki, Ina, Bobby, Nancy, Lisa, Maria and C├ęcile. If you have a chance to comment, that would be a real treat.

Given that I'm predisposed to bird terror, I don't have many feathers in my collection (or birds, for that matter!).  Hero Arts' Layering Peacock is the exception and what a lovely display of feathers this proud creature has! Shades of blue, with emerald green for the highlight spots made for easy stamping.

That's it from me! Looking forward to seeing how feathers inspire YOU!

Thank you for dropping by!

Happy Little Stampers April 2020 CAS Card Challenge~Feathers...Swan Celebrate

Welcome to Happy Little Stampers April 2020 CAS Challenge, where Feathers are this month's theme.

My card uses 'implied' rather than explicit feathers via a trio of swans from Pinkfresh Studio's Itty Bitty Elements set. I adore this collection: lots of whimsical bitty images and a die for every single one! Love when that happens!

That's it from me; please head over to the blog to see how my talented teammates interpreted this month's theme. A reminder that we're looking for CAS designs.

See you in the gallery!

STAMPlorations April 2020 CAS Card Challenge~Anything Goes (optional twist: Lemon Yellow)...Lemon/Rainbow Hugs

April 1st...and it's arrived with a mighty blast of winter! Snow, wind, cold temperatures; a reflection of the way March began! Although Spring hasn't had a chance to 'spring', the upside of this feisty weather is yet more reason to stay inside and isolate!

Welcome to STAMPlorations April 2020 CAS Challenge where Anything Goes is always theme, with an optional twist that, this month, is Lemon Yellow.

I went with the twist this time: some zesty lemon wedges stenciling and a rainbow hug!

That's it from me; time for you to play along.
  • You can find Challenge details here.
  • If you decide you 'need' some of the products I - or other designers have used - head over to the STAMPlorations Online Store (always great deals to be had!)
  • To receive an additional 20% off your purchases, I invite you to use my discount code: STAMPGIRLCAROLM
Looking forward to seeing your CAS cards in the gallery, with or without the twist!

I'll be back on April 15th with a reminder card.

Thank you for dropping by!

Uniko Brand Ambassador...Snowflake Shaker

Carol here with my Brand Ambassador Inspiration post for March.

The calendar says Spring has sprung but, where I live, apparently Winter didn't receive the memo, as we're in the midst of yet another bout of snow and cold temperatures. More reason to stay inside and all the more reason to complete a card that I had started back in January! I know I 'should' be showcasing Uniko's gorgeous blooms but...the 'muses' called for something that befits the weather we're having! Let's just call it a 'winter' flower rather than a snowflake *grin*

Full-panel acetate-wrap shaker (so easy!) featuring: Let It Snow stencil background, Designer Die Sparkling Snowflake and a sentiment from Simply Said Blocks: Christmas.

Hopefully, March's blustery departure will herald a lovely April arrival (minus any April Fool's shenanigans)!

Thank you for dropping by!
