Inkspirational Challenge #268~Word Prompt - Precious - Precious Painted Rose

Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #268, where our prompt, for the next two weeks, is *precious.*  So many directions to explore...welcoming a precious baby, precious gems, precious metals...anything that you consider precious works for us!

Initially, I figured I'd use my Concord & 9th gems turnabout and die combo, but in rummaging through the bin, the Painted Rose caught my eye. On a whim, I googled 'precious flowers' and landed, as luck would have it, on Precious Rose! Perfect! One 'precious' rose; three 'droplet' enamel dots and a stenciled background from Photoplay! Easy...once I made the decision!

Please check out how my team was inspired, then join us in the gallery with your something precious!

Just Us Girls Challenge #638~Photo Week - Make It an Ice Cream Kind of Day!

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #638, where our fabulous hostess, Vicki, has selected this delightful pineapple beach scene as this week's inspiration. How cool are these sunbathing beauties, sporting their snazzy sunglasses and summery flowers! Adorable, right!
Once again, Lucy G. joins us as our June guest designer. Thank you for sharing your fabulous creativity with us this month! Your card for this challenge is, as were all the others, wonderful! And speaking of wonderful, so too are the cards by my team! If you have a chance, please visit and leave them some love.

I've been having such fun with Colorado Craft Co.'s Ice Cream Day images: one set includes cats (which you'll see very soon); the other, the adorable mice, shown below. I decided to use them (because I don't have anything pineapple in my collection) in my translation of the photo. My three little mice are certainly enjoying their big ol' cones on the beach! Hope the sun doesn't melt their treats too quickly!  Once again, I followed Yana Smakula's no blend copic colouring. Such fun, especially with these whimsical Anita Jeram critters!

Looking forward to how the photo inspires you!

Just Us Girls Challenge #637~Color Week - Red, Blue, Yellow + one colour of choice...Happy Father's Day Super Hero

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #637, where our wonderful hostess, Elizabeth, invites us to play with BLUEYELLOWRED, plus one other color of your choice. Let us know the color you have added. The possibilities for this broad palette are endless.

We're delighted to have Lucie from LucieG Cards joining us as our June guest designer! Her  card and those of the design team are sure to bring you smiles.
I made a 'Superman' Father's Day card, using products from MCT and Uniko. A bit tricky to get the outfit just right, as the die is solid, but I think I dressed him kinda-sorta okay! LOL!

Looking forward to your  BLUEYELLOWRED and 'special' colour in the gallery!

Perfectly CAS June 2022 Challenge~One Quarter...Flamingo "Life is all about Balance"

Welcome to Perfectly CAS June 2022 Challenge, where we're inviting you to keep your design to one-quarter of your card. Tricky, right...but definitely do-able, as you'll see from my fabulous team's creativity!

My fancy flamingo and sentiment are from Spellbinders/Becky Roberts Shopping Cart Too collection. The sentiment reads (because my photography is pathetic!): Life is all about Balance. Yes, yes it is!

Please be sure to pop by my teammates' blogs, leave them some love, then play along with us!
Remember: we're sticking to one-quarter for this challenge.

Thank you for dropping by!

Inkspirational Challenge #267~Use a Digital Element...Marcia with a Cupcake (Kit and Clowder)

Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #267, where we'd like you to use a digital element in your card/project. Digi stmap, digital die-cut, photo (now why didn't I think of that *palm smack on forehead*) or even a computer generated sentiment: anything digital goes

A while back, I was enrolled in Kit and Clowder's monthly pencil-colouring classes. I can't rave enough about how excellent a teacher Alyce is; she breaks down all the steps so well that, by the time you're done, you can step back and say " Wow! I did that?!"  The first image I coloured was this one - Marcia with a Cupcake. Followed the video (it was long but such a good investment in every way) to a *t*, ad this was the result. She's been sitting in my craftroom for a long time and this challenge offered opportunity to card-ify her.  I may need to take another class...or twelve!

Please check out how my team was inspired, then join us in the gallery with your digital element!

Just Us Girls Challenge #636~Trend Week - Add a Moving Element...Best Dad Beer Mug and Ribbon (Spellbinder's Let's Dance)

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #636, where Elizabeth, our wonderful hostess, invites us to add a moving element to our card/project. Spinner, wobblers, pop-up, even a dangling charm/ long as something moves, you're good to go!

Once again, Lucie from LucieG Cards joins us this month as our June guest designer! Check out her lovely card as well as all of the great inspiration from the design team.

Two Father's Day cards from me, both of which use Spellbinder's Let's Dance dies and Happy Dance sentiments. The name of the dies says it all: the dads' legs 'dance', as you can see on the second card! Super cute; super easy. I might be crushing over that big ol' mug of beer!

Looking forward to seeing which moving element you bring to the gallery!
