Inkspirational Challenge #336 - CAS (Optional Twist - Use Stickers, Rub Ons or Ephemera) - That was so Sweet of You (49 and Market Rub-Ons)

Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #336. We're starting off March (can you believe it!) with a Clean and Simple (CAS) Challenge with the optional twist of using stickers or rub-ons or transfers or ephemera.  

I'm sure many of you join me in being dazzled by the gorgeous collections designed by 49 & Market. My card today features rub-ons from their recent Willows release and ohmyword! Talk about lovely images that make creating clean and simple cards both easy and pretty. I've paired the sprig with two outlined butterflies along with a sentiment strip from Taylored Expressions. Total time: under 10 minutes!

Just Us Girls Challenge #764 - STENCIL Week - Make Your Own Magic Unicorns and Rainbows

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #764, where Sue  is our hostess for Stencil Week.

Once again, Stephanie Severin joins us as our February Guest Designer; thank you so much for your wonderful inspiration this month.

My card features a Simple Stories one layer stencil in my stash that I've had for ages but have used perhaps once before. A bit of masking required to achieve the pastel rainbow inking, but I'm please with the results. The cutie-patootie unicorns are from Alex Syberia Designs' Always Be Yourself collection. I may have another 10 of the magical creatures awaiting some cards; they're adorable.

Just Us Girls Challenge #763 - MOODBOARD Week - Happy Birthday Celebrate (C and 9th - Hooray)

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #763, where Elizabeth has selected this colourful birthday celebration photo as inspiration this week. 

Once again, we're delighted to have Stephanie Severin joining us as our February Guest Designer.

I brought out an old (discontinued) Concord & 9th set for my card, where you can easily see that I drew inspiration from the colours and stripes. Except for masking off the stripes (they're all one stamp) to change colour, this was pretty quick to make. In real life, it's much brighter, so I'm overall pleased with the results.

Color Hues Challenge #104 - CORAL & YELLOW - Today Is a Good Day to have a Good Day (PFS)

Welcome to Colour Hues Challenge #104 where our wonderful hostess, Bonnie, has selected hues of coral and yellow as inspiration for the next two weeks. A pretty combination for a wide range of occasions. 

We're delighted to have Teresa as our Guest Designer for this challenge.

My new Pinkfresh Studio Modern Design Blocks glimmer plate and stencils came out for a play, paired with a sentiment from Wildflower Bouquet (purchased at one of my favourite Canadian retailers: Scrap Addicts). I'm smitten with these blocks - especially in this colour combination.

Inkspirational Challenge #335 - Mood Board - Most Amazing People are Born in February (C and 9th, Alex Syberia - Fantasy Florals)

Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #335. 

After spending the first half (already!) of February playing with red and pink (and plenty of hearts!) in our previous challenge, we're turning to a different palette and images for the second half of the month, as shown in the Mood Board below.  Aqua, teal, blues, purples, woodgrain, florals, letters, spools of thread, bowls, plates, patterns...plenty of selection to spark your creativity.

 

After sitting in my stash for far too long, my Alex Syberia Designs Fantasy Flowers have finally made their debut. Pretty easy to see where I drew inspiration: colours, flowers and 'February" which is from an older Concord and 9th stamp set, All Around the Year.
