I finally glimmered and stenciled one of my Better Press Society plates; I rather like the tile/mosaic style of this one. The glimmer foil reflects/diffuses the quality of the image - apologies for that but...I did my best.

Just Us Girls Challenge #783 - WORD Week - Water - Just A Note Happy Crabs (WF)

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #783, where Vicki has selected Water as Word Week inspiration. Loads of choices with this one.

Once again, we're delighted to have Donna Mikasa joining us as our July Guest Designer.

I've been taking Spellbinders Colour Deck Card classes, via Zoom, with Glitter & Ink, a craft supplies retailer in Canada. One of our assignments was to select a deck card that had our less favourite colour combinations and create a project with that palette. 

Below is my assignment, featuring Waffle Flower's Happy Crabs and my 'stylized' version of water. It's a bit more bold and artsy than my usual style but...it's kind of grown on me. 

Just as a reference, here's the Colour Deck card that influenced my colour choices:

My recipe: Chiffon cardstock for flowers and shells; Coral - used Coral Reef ink (Pinkfresh); Sicily - used Sorbet ink (C & 9th); Blue Spruce - used Oceanside ink (C & 9th); Cosmic Sky - used Scuba ink (Simon Says).

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #782, where our wonderful hostess, Carol Mc, invites us to use dies that cut things specific to summer. Examples you might consider:  a sailboat, sunglasses, seagulls, sea creatures, flamingos, pool/pool floats,  beach ball/tote, flip flops, ice cream cones, summer drinks/fruits, lemonadefruit stand, watermelon, palm trees, vacation/travel items...

Color Hues #113 - Red and White - Happy Birthday to You (Address, Gift and Mini Postage Collage)

Happy Canada Day to my Canadian friends. I hope your day is filled with celebration, fabulous food and, of course, a marvelous fireworks display.

New month means a new challenge: welcome to Colour Hues Challenge #113 where our delightful hostess, Tracy, has selected...you guessed it...Red and White as inspiration for the next two weeks.  

We're delighted to have Kim Miller joining us as our guest designer.  

Given Canada is celebrating its 158th birthday this year, I though it fitting to create a birthday card to mark the occasion. Waffle Flower all the way, of course, both with the products and my card design, inspired by one of WF's designers. 

I also made this quick card with Photoplay stickers that I've had for quite a while. For the record, I am NOT a fan of gnomes but these guys still deserve a play date.
