Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #175~Designer's Choice, with a theme that is PERFECT for this time of year...

and especially for me, whose card stash is so low (despite the hours I spend in my craft room!), it's embarrassing! Slow production + rotating strikes at Canada Post means my cards will likely appear in mailboxes well into the New Year. Then again...Christmas should be celebrated as far into January as possible, right? Right! *grin*

that, one might argue, isn't really 'Christmas,' based on the sentiment but...check out the traditional colours and the 'festive love' being spread! Besides, Christmas Day, for me, is always a hot chocolate kind of day, because that's pretty much the only time I drink it *grin*

Christmas Pop Trees...Uniko Challenge #50 Reminder~Celebrate, optional twist GOLD

After a wonderful 26 days of playing tag, time to refocus on those 'larger' canvases and get some Christmas cards done!  

Today, I'm joining my wonderful design team and our guest designer, Mugdha, with a reminder about the Uniko November/December 2018 Uniko challenge~Celebrate (optional twist: GOLD).  We also have a lovely image to spark inspiration...

Christmas Pop is a newcomer to my Uniko collection (and evidently many others' collections as it is, once again sold out! Pop must stand for 'popular!), so I decided to 'celebrate' its arrival with a trio of cards.  Drawing from the photo, I paired the trees with the Scattered Polka Dots stencil, using Delicata Gold ink. Sparkly!

My tag features a "Most Wonderful" stamp Michelle is releasing for Black Friday and one that you can get for free with qualifying orders.  How lucky I am to have this beauty in my collection! Thank you, Michelle!  This sweet tree-shaped stamp will shine on whatever stage you place it on or technique you use it with. Mine: simple red on white and a second with a bit of masking. Clear embossing powder applied to both, which is hard to capture in a photo... but the sheen is real!
