Hello,
Welcome to our super fun Stencil Week for Just Us Girls Challenge #768. Vicki, as hostess, has the pleasure of selecting the winner this go-round.
Once again, Jeanne Jachna joins us as our March Guest Designer; thank you for sharing your fabulous creativity and inspiration with us this month, Jeanne!
I've seen several crafters use perforated paper to create cards recently and, since I have a few sheets in my stash, I decided to give it a try (especially since I've made the decision 'not' to cross-stitch/stitch on paper any more). The texture of the paper worked a charm with my new Uniko Layering Picked Posies Stencil which, by the way, I absolutely LOVE!
Please head over to the main blog to see the fabulous cards designed by Jeanne and the rest of the team.
Then, bring out your stencils, give them plenty of inky-love and share your artwork in the gallery.

Love the soft looking end result!
So pretty and looks great on the perforated paper.
Carol, I love it - Marcia had a card made using it when I visited her last week!
Such a fun surface to stencil with!
=]
I have seen a couple of cards with the perforated background too....yours is just gorgeous and really caught my eye the first time I saw it. YOu have inspired me to try it...and I have a die for it! (Your stenciling is perfect by the way!)
This is gorgeous my friend! I'm sorry to hear you aren't stitching on paper any more, but man oh man, are you making fantastic use of the perforated paper. You ink blending skills are shining bright here! Wow!
Love the idea of the texture the paper gives this panel Carol, perhaps it would work with a texture plate die or an embossing folder. Off to have a play! :)
Ooooohhhhh, I love this stenciled on the perforated paper! Spectacular card, Carol!
It gives the look of cross stitching but much easier on the eyes, Carol. It is a lovely stencil and covers the panel beautifully.
Oh, that is so pretty, Carol! I don't believe I've seen perforated paper before--is it like cross stitching Aida paper?
I love the look of your stenciling over this paper, Carol. Gives a hand sewn look without a stitch. Really lovely.
Carol... you are the first one I have seen use the perforated paper sine TE introduced it... wow... looks like fun!!
I love the effect of the perfectly stenciled flowers on that perforated paper! Absolutely gorgeous!
We're on the same page when it comes to that stencil set, Carol--definitely one of my favorites! Didn't realize you used it for the challenge until I put my card in the gallery. OK, though--shows what different looks you can get. After seeing you and Carol use the perforated paper or a die, I want to do that next. Love the colors you used!
Wow! what a dramatic result you have achieved here Carol. Simply stunning.
