New month means new challenges over at Happy Little Stampers and today, I'm delighted to join the team in creating cards for the December 2018 CAS Challenge. Our theme: EMBOSS
I embossed the Uniko Christmas Folk stencil, but the lighting...oh my stars! So difficult to show the imprint of those lovely poinsettias that, in real life, are very prominent, and the shimmer of the Delicata red ink. Sighhh...we need some sunshine around here to a) fulfill my daily dose of 'natural' Vitamin D and make my already photography-challenged situation a bit less challenging. On the plus side: Yayyy to another Christmas card to the pile for my mom! As for my stash...there are some things best left unsaid *grin*
That's it from me; please head over to the blog to see how my talented teammates interpreted this month's theme. A reminder that we're looking for CAS designs.
Thank you for dropping by!

Gorgeous card, love the texture and how you've highlighted one of the flowers, really striking, Cathy x
I do like that stencil and I love what you've done with it here Carol. The light here is poor too, three awful grey yet mild days in a row so far. Think I prefer those clear crisp winter days to the dark ones. :)
great card Carol, love that embossing folder, such a striking design.
Wow, look at this wonderful and striking card! I really like the embossing. Reminds me of a quilt! I adore the bright red. And the sentiment is so pretty. Beautiful work! Hugs!
Love, love, love your card. Such a beautiful design and layout - stunning!!!
This is beautiful!
Fresh, stylish, graphic and gorgeous, Carol ... the Scandinavian look is fabulous! Hugs, Anita :)
Your card is a great CAS, but the card is excellent in every category! I love how you have distinguished one of the flowers and the addition between the flakes of the line is really revealing. WOW! This is really a great inspiration.
Hugs,

Beautifully CAS, Carol. I can see doing multiples of this design.
