We've been home a couple days now and I'm still trying to re-acclimatize to my own surroundings. After stints of time spent in vacation rentals, hotel rooms, planes, a 15-passenger van, more hotel rooms and my mom's (best place by far!), I'm ready for some 'stay put' days. I'm back to work on the 24th...Yikes! Where did the summer go? Oh, I know: allllll over the place - and still more of that to happen in the next short while.
Re-acquainting myself with my crafting zone has been...oh, a tad challenging. I 'may' have invited
Our darling Michele (I promise to catch up with comments on the zillion posts I've missed - but you do know I love them all, right? Right!) inspired us with this sweet delight over at Muse #128,
Clean, simple, fabulous....so, I just pretty much copied her. I mean, why stray too far from a great thing?
I followed her recipe nearly to a 't': embossing folder (check); bold sentiment (check); smaller sentiment, in black (check) and, I even ventured into the land of vellum (why it confounds me, who knows...another 'something' to get a handle on), with a butterfly. Missed the silver...dang!
Michele - your card is fabulous and so inspiring - as we can see by the gallery. Mine's just a simple little number, but I quite love it! Thanks for igniting the sparks!
I'm also sharing over at Simply Create Too #92~Anything Goes.
Thanks so much for dropping by; your visit and comments add sparkle to my day!
Hugs,

A perfect take on Michele's card, Carol, with just enough change to make it your own - like with a butterfly perhaps. ;)
