Happy Halloween and Leafy Thanks....FUSION Challenge~Chairs to You (Oct. 6)

Hello!

As I write this, the furnace is running, I'm tucked under a wool blanket (and wearing my big, goofy fuzzy socks) and...it's snowing outside! 'Nuff said!

How about we turn out our thoughts  - and eyes - to more 'sunny' images, like those featured in our new FUSION Challenge~Chairs to You.  Isn't that tangly tower of lawn-chairs fabulous? And how enticing the matching sketch...

Today, I have three cards to share (because I can *grin*).  The first is my take on the sketch, featuring a trio of left-over cutie-patootie images from my 12 Kits of Occasions collection.  I knew they'd be perfect for this challenge, so they're getting a 'showcase' all their own. Aren't they 'spooky'?

My second card lead to a third card because I couldn't decide which orientation I preferred of my 'translation-of--chairs-into-leaves'.  Net result: make one of each.  My husband prefers the landscape (I likely have the terms wrong: he likes the last one); and I, the first (portrait?). Either way, I'm just happy to have had a first play with my new Concord & 9th Give Thanks set.  Actually, I have a backlog of C9 products awaiting attention...need more time!!

I know you'll want to see more inspiration and I know precisely where you can find it: my amazing team-mates.  Here's the list...do drop in for a visit, leave them some love....

then, craft a card of your own and join us in the gallery. Remember, the process is simple:

1. Play with just the sketch challenge.

2. Play with just the inspiration photo challenge.

3. Or you can create FUSION by combining BOTH challenges into one card.

4. Use the challenge graphic and link back to Fusion in your post.

5.  HAVE FUN!!!

See you in the gallery!

Ohhh sounds like you were tucked cozily at home. Hope the snow doesn't last and that it melts quickly. No sign of the white stuff here yet, but they keep threatening(promising?). It is raining right now and that's an unusual sight as it's been very dry lately. Anyway, enough about the weather! Your cards are much more interesting to talk about and I adore what you have created. That first one quite simply makes me smile...as you say...a mega-watt smile. It's adorable. I love cute Halloween cards. (shook my head at some lawn decorations yesterday that were farrrrr from cute). You colored the adorable images wonderfully. I like how they are stacked and you simply cannot go wrong with Doodlebug paper! Your feathers are so pretty, too. Yep, you got the terms spot on perfect and the stamping, too. Lovely colors!! Thanks so much for sharing and inspiring! Stay warm and dry!! Hugs!

I love Concord and 9th Stamps. They sell them at my stamp store in Greensboro. This is a cute card and I love the colors you used!! I knew that was Doodlebug paper when I first saw it. I love it!

Two incredibly different but both obviously inspired by that photo. The stacked cuties are a great take on it but my CAS-loving heart is enamored with your colored feathers.

Three great cards from the same inspiration! The critters are adorable and the falling leaves mimic the stacked chairs perfectly!
Oh no, snow already? Cozy up!

Aaakk. Don't even mention that four letter word, Carol. I'd rather concentrate on those darling Halloween images and the lovely portrait and landscape leafy cards. They emulated the chairs perfectly.

Your brain is so creative to have pulled these inspirations from the challenge-- two directions! I think I agree with your hubs: I like the horizontal card. Well, now i say that, and maybe I like the vertical card!!!
