Easter...Freshly Made Sketches #228, Uniko Challenge #30~Spring/Easter

Hello,

A quick post with a card for Freshly Made Sketches #228, using my new Paper Smooches Easter Blessings stamps and Crosses dies, and MFT Concentric Circle stencil...

Darn! I didn't include side panels...sighhh! Dear DT: if my card is 'too far'
adapted, I totally understand. Off to stand in the corner for a bit...

I made a second, finally using the 'ink + spritz' technique with an embossing folder. My inks didn't blend smoothly, resulting in a mottled look. Let's pretend it's kind of a dreamy, sunrise *grin*.  I'm sending these to my mom - one for her and the other for her to give to a friend.  The essence of Easter: she'll like that...

Your cards are totally swoonworthy! The colors, the simplicity, everything! Fantastic!

Wow, very nice. The first one reminds me of being in a 70s church with the stained glass beyond the alter (very groovy), and the second turned or super-cool, the ink looks great!

LOVE both your cards, I really must try and use stencils more as the results are stunning. I like the mottled effect and thought that it not a mishap. The colours you have chosen against the crisp white are so cheerful. Thanks so much for inspiring me and LOVELY to see you in the Uniko Challenge gallery. Hugs Bev x

Stunning! More of your stencil magic & I love it. Both cards are really lovely & I think the mottled look in your second card actually looks really good. Your mum will love them both.

Both your sunrise images are beyond gorgeous, c ... much prettier than you gave yourself credit for! LOve the second using the embossing folder - I 'played cards' with a friend via long-distance phone calling yesterday using this technique. Now why haven't the two of us done this yet? Must remedy that, girlfriend! Next chat! xx
