Lovely Day...Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #352~Papaya, Grass and Pistachio

Hello!

Today, my fabulous DT and I invite you to join us for some yummy treats and, afterwards, some inspiration for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #352~Papaya, Grass and Pistachio

These just *have* to be carrot cake cupcakes, right?  Right!

For my card, I decided to play with the colours in a 'non-Easter' fashion, drawing ideas from this fabulous card created by our sweet, talented Michele, from i card everyone.  No AE Laurel stamps in my collection, so I adapted, using some smaller leaves/vines from a couple of other sets. My card is far busier than Michele's but I rather like it. The sentiment circle, with the wee stitched butterfly, is popped up; it's not as 'flat' in real life as it appears here...

This week, a lucky winner will receive a gift from our amazing, incredibly talented and generous sponsor, Julee Tilman. from Verve Stamps.  Talk about even more incentive to join our challenge this week!
Please visit the Cupcake Inspirations site to see how my team-mates have been inspired by papaya. tangerine and grass...then c'mon and join us!

See you in the gallery!

Thank you for spending time with me today;  your visit brings me immense joy!

  15. Beautifully designed card, Carol! Wish I was making some carrot cupcakes, but I'm not! At least I got some of my favorite Biscotti made so I can have a treat before I head to work tomorrow.
