Holiday Goodies Border...CASology #178~Merry, Memory Box Challenge #7~Season's Greetings, Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge #261~Anything Goes Christmas, My Time To Craft #311~Last Minute Christmas Makes

Hello,

Even though I am DONE with Christmas cards for the time being (give me a week or so...I'm keeping my eye on Christmas challenges *grin*), I had to make yet ONE more because this sweet Memory Box die joined my collection, just before we left to visit my family.  Curtain Call's recent Milk and Cookies challenge inspired the colours, however, the gallery closed before I was ready. Even so, I want to acknowledge the fabulous inspiration photo...

I have itsy-bitsy gingerbreads, too...

The sun caught the top part of the card...a 'rare' daylight photo opportunity.

I'm entering my simple creation at:
CAS-ology #178~Merry

Memory Box Challenge #7~Season's Greetings

My Time To Craft #311~Last Minute Christmas Makes

I'm being rather lazy these days...crafting a bit, catching  up on chores, reading (a fabulous new mystery...). and undertaking much-needed organization, especially my pile of scrap bits of paper.  Am I the only one who keeps the teensy-weensiest snippets...just in case?  Call me packrat...

Wishing you a wonderful Tuesday evening and so grateful that you found a moment to drop by!

You seriously have THE best die collection ever! The gingerbread folk & their goodies is off the chart sweetness! Looks like this die cuts clean as a whistle too! Love the sprinkle of stars and LOVE the sun kissed photo!

I completely agree with Geri about your die collection! It's a beauty and you showcased it so well. It pops so nicely against the festive red. Beautiful card!!

Oh, this is so sweet, Carol! It's too bad the collection closed before you could link it up!

Awww! What a sweet little gingerbread border. Or as Lily spelled it a few years ago, "gimerbred" man. Love the bold red background and those amazing 'Merry Christmas' dies too. Great card! As for scraps...I used to save everything that was at least 1x1. Not anymore. They take up too much space in the scrap folders now. Don't even feel guilty about it anymore. I'll only save bitty scraps if they're from my favorite colors or patterns. Otherwise it's the recycle bin. And a very blessed New Year to you and yours. Maybe there'll be a bike race in WI this year.... Bev

I love those darling little gingerbread men, Carol. I used to have a cookie cutter and make some just about that size. I have bags of leftover bits that I'm going to go through. Most of them are from when I used to buy really cheap and thin cardstock and won't use them for anything anyway.

What a shame you missed out on this challenge, this card would have been perfect!! Love that die with those teeny-tiny gingerbread men in kraft, looks just like gingerbread. And the font for your 'merry christmas' die is gorgeous. And your not the only one who keeps little bits of paper, although I just had a big clean out and found a bag full of them. I ended up by taking a big breath and throwing them all out and asked Dave to put it straight in the rubbish bin (full of dog-poo parcels and lawn clippings) so I don't change my mind and try to get them back out again.....

Come to think of it, maybe I should do that with all the boxes of chocolates we have floating around the house.....

That gingerbread die is adorable, Carol, and I love the sentiment die cut too. Is that Memory Box as well? They both look extra yummy against the red background. Thanks for playing along with CASology!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and are enjoying your lazy days (they're so good for the soul)! So what mystery are you reading?
