Even though I’m 100% a dog person (my mini schnauzer, Lily, is my heart!), I couldn’t resist the charming feline release from Waffle Flower a couple months ago. Today marks the debut of my new goodies — inspired by the talented Waffle Flower design team samples.
The background features a stenciled 'cat quilt' pattern, which was a breeze to create and adds just the right cozy touch. I paired it with a fluffy die-cut cat silhouette. And how could I resist the delightful little add-on details? The wind-up mouse, ball of yarn and whimsically “decorated” food dish are just too cute not to include.
So while dogs - or more specifically, Lily - still rule my world, these cats definitely captured my crafty heart — at least for today!

My mini schnauzer Max was my heart too, Carol! But when I was a little girl I did have a gray cat named Pepper! Your lovely card brings back found memories of him!

Oh my...I am absolutely in LOVE with this sweet, sweet card Carol! You know that I am a big WF fan too, but being a dog person myself, and seeing the cat offerings a couple months ago, I decided to pass. Now I'm thinking I made a mistake! That background is ADORABLE and the food dish, wind up mouse & yarn ball are all the perfect add ons for this sweet, sweet scene! What a darling card! I just had to come take a closer look as I was so intrigued by the background and the big fluffy cat and, well ALL of it! I'm a dog person, too, though nothing against cats. Mine is a Golden Retriever, and her best friend is my best friend's mini-Schnauzer. He's a character!

What a sweet card, Carol! Love the "quilt" background and all the kitty dies - the bowl with the fish bone made me smile! I don't have any pets now but I dearly love both cats and dogs, so I'm loving this creation! Thank you for a great color combination!
