Hello,
Welcome to Colour Hues Challenge #112, where our lovely hostess, Stef, invites us to use hues of Peach and Cobalt as inspiration for the next two weeks. This combination works wonderfully various occasions and designs.
We're delighted to have Teresa S. as our guest designer.

Making their debut for this challenge are my new Waffle Flower Sew Fun and Quilt Frame dies. This was another one of those 'nope, don't need it' situations that I quickly over-ruled, because oh yes, I *need* these sewing/quilting themed products. Behind the scenes, I'm learning to use my real sewing machine to make little projects - pouches, mug rugs, bags - so of course, I'm a bit besotted with stitchy things of late. To be honest: making sewing-themed cards is way easier than making 'real' sewn things. LOL!
Please head over to the main blog to see fabulous inspiration from our Guest Designer and my amazing teammates.
Looking forward to seeing how Peach and Cobalt inspire you!
The challenge will be open until June 29th @ 9:00am (EST)
The winners will be posted an hour before our next challenge and the overall
winner will have the opportunity to be a future Guest Designer.

I fell victim to the sewing theme at WF too Carol, although I opted for the postage collage stencils with the sewing theme! Sew many sweet details in the die set though and you've made them SHINE with the color pairing friend! Sweet, sweet card!! Hugs. :0)
I love the sweet frame you've used on this Carol and all of those fabulous layers! Yes, real sewn things can be stressful... the paper versions are easier!
What a fun card, Carol! I'm loving this sewing machine with all those accessories! Your zig zag stitch frame and quilted background fit right in! A great design! Good luck with your sewing.
I, too, added the sewing themed WF goodness to my stash. My daughter is learning to sew and a friend was a quilter. This friend just had a birthday and I use the stencils to make her card. I am tickled to hear you are learning to sew. I recently started following two sewists on IG, Simply Eilene and CuriousHandmadeUK. Their projects are simple and straightforward and look fun. The UK gal also offers some neat hacks. Anyway, have fun learning to sew AND making sewing themed cards! Hugs!
There was a time in my life where these wonderful die cuts would have been perfect for me. I was a seamstress for years--made clothes, gifts, and costumes for everyone in the family. I gave it up years ago when it was more expensive to make an outfit than it was to buy it. Now my daughter has taken over and is making beautiful quilts and fantastic costumes for her kids. It would be so tempting to replicate your card for her, but I definitely do not need more product. Your card is fabulous--love the sewing machine, and all the details! The background and frame couldn't be more perfect!
Very impressive that you're taking up sewing! I grew up with impressive seamstresses (my mother and sister) but I was and continue to be a total disaster around sewing machines. But creating a sewing themed card, maybe so. And this is a delightful one, Carol! You've really used the colors so perfectly and I love all the stitching detail in the background and frame. Fantastic card!
You have the best die sets Carol and you've made a fabulous little montage of sewing paraphernalia with this one. I don't get my machine out half as much as I should, there are a couple of trousers waiting to be shortened for friend never mind pretty makes for me! :)
