Color Hues Challenge #101 - Red and Kraft - Warm Wishes Radiating Snowflake (Pinkfresh Studio) and Just For You Reindeer (SB Felt Stitching)

Hello,

Happy New Year! May 2025 bring you an abundance of all things wonderful and joyous!

Welcome to Colour Hues Challenge #101, where our lovely hostess, Sheri, invites us to use hues of Red and Kraft as inspiration. This is a pretty combination for Valentine's Day, which will be here in a blink, as well as a variety of other occasions.

We're delighted to have Stephanie S. joining us as our Guest Designer.

We're having a few days of snow and cold weather in my part of Alberta over the next few days, so featuring a card with a snowflake just seemed appropriate. That, and the fact that I'm not quite ready to move on from winter-themed images yet.  Pinkfresh Studio's Radiating Snowflake and Festive Grid cover plate have come out to play; joining them is a sentiment from Alex Syberia Design's Midnight Blooms.

And, just for fun, I made a paper version of my Spellbinders' Felt Stitched Reindeer. Let's just say he was easier to make with paper than he was to stitch with felt. LOL!

Looking forward to seeing how Red and Kraft inspire you!

The challenge will be open until January 14th @ 9:00 am EDT.

The winners will be posted an hour before our next challenge and the overall
winner will have the opportunity to be a future Guest Designer.

Thank you for dropping by!

I am still longing for that stitched background and now that I've seen it in kraft I may have to cave. And what an adorable reindeer!!! I'm going to make more of these from paper when I get back home. (Now...go post BOTH of these on Instagram you goof. LOL!)

Love your snowflake card with the quilted background, it reminded me of that panel I had in my stash! However, your cute reindeer stole my heart! Happy New Year to you and yours. :)

The snowflake card is lovely with the various pinks/reds on that fabulous background. And the reindeer is absolutely charming whether in felt or in paper!

Oh how cute is that reindeer! I'll bet it was a tad easier and maybe a little quicker, too! The snowflake is lovely! What a happy, crafty intro to 2025!

I love both cards! That Radiating Snowflake is one of my all-time faves. I used it so often last year, I decided to give it a rest this season. Yours is so lovely, as is the wonderful background with the red hearts. What a great design! Happy New Year!
